So many horrible memories.

Put it where she wanted and fired it up…un balanced rotodisaster flipped and ran on it’s side until the oil leaked out and the motor froze. Then blamed me for the mess. I paid $600 for new rear suspension on the minivan, $400 for detailing the interior of the van, then discovered the carpet was ruined…$300 for new replacement carpet. $300 to extract the embedded tine and patch the driveway, owed Homedepot a couple grand for the rotowreckage, paid a guy $50 to haul the rotovictim away.

Having a charitable garage sale on older daughter’s birthday. Started out the day ransacking daughter’s bedroom and my s~~~ for garage sale fodder. Took my remote control boat, a high end racing bike and a collection of depression era glassware my mother and grandmother collected and gave to us. Every item in the garage sale was $5. Plates, saucers, tea cups serving bowls, sugar and cream set, butter dishes, glasses, grapefruit bowls, ice cream bowls there were 200 pieces in the set, all matching. Gone for 5 f~~~ing dollars. Years of scouring auctions, estate sales, antique shops, flea markets, garage sales. There are something like 50 colors and over 500 patterns. Everything in this collection matched, color and pattern. There was a one of a kind salesman miniature sample set in the color and pattern. Only 1 salesman in 1930 carried this set to soap, cereal and oat companies. He would have shown this to oil company execs, grocery store presidents, any company offering a premium like the crappy toys in cereal today, 1 sample set. Mint in the original box from the factory, in the salesman’s original briefcase. 1 only 1 in the entire world. There are no salesman samples surviving today to the best of my knowledge. Museums would have wanted this s~~~. $5. for all of it! I wanted to beat this bitch with a brick. She made $200 in this garage sale, $5 at a time. She felt so proud of herself. My mother cried for 2 days and would never again visit until the day I was removed from my house.

To answer your question I am 23, and that relationship ended four years ago. I graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in Film & Media Studies last year. I have to admit that watching certain media and viewing my parents as role models to a certain extent definitely gave me high hopes, but in my opinion one of the many things that defines a relationship between two people is mutual exclusivity, for why would I even be in a relationship if it was an open free-for-all? Sorry about that, I’ve actually never embedded a GIF before so I wouldn’t know the difference between something light and heavy. Perhaps I am abnormal or nihilistic in this respect, but I never interpreted that image as depressing because within the context of the movie that is God in his death throes after disemboweling himself with a straight razor, and immediately afterwards a woman referred to as Mother Earth is born from this cosmic travesty. In a way it is depicting the circle of life, from the emptiness of death springs the fullness of life.

And if your only reason for not showing me your stuff, which I need to judge the scope and extent of the work and therefore my fee, is that you’re worried I’ll base my fee on what I see there, then there’s no hope of us working together in a mutually beneficial way.

If I’m working ‘in’ the client’s system at all times, monitoring and correcting in real time, it doesn’t change my billing model. It only changes when I do the work (in real time rather than afterwards), not how much work I have to do. In that scenario, I’d be even more interested in seeing the internals before quoting, because the volume of transactions bears directly on my work load of setting up, mapping accounts, monitoring, etc. If you hire me expecting me to be in your system watching and tweaking on the fly, I’m going to charge a premium for that. The financials and tax returns might be ‘press the button’ or close to it, but only because I did all the prep work in advance.

Trust issues aside, I’m not interested in working with a client who views me as a disposable utility and doesn’t value my professional expertise at the going market rates. That must just be my dinosaur brain at work. If you need my signature on your reports, it comes at a price because I have to back it up. Otherwise, press your own button.

Good question. Perhaps we should have made it more obvious.

Previously (until about 3 weeks ago) you had a front-end site profile — AND — a forums profile. This is because it’s possible for you to be a member but NOT a forums participant. Very confusing to many because there was a secondary place for forums settings, subscriptions and your custom signature etc.

So we created an all new member system where both profiles are now consolidated into one place. You will arrive there every time you log in. Like a “member homepage” with your avatar (which you can change) and all your messages, followers, news activity wall , a cover photo and all your forums topics and replies.

Your forums topics, replies, subscriptions are all under the Forums tab on your profile.
Click your avatar to see your profile and then you will see the Forums tab.

Everything you can manage is now in one place. If anything is unclear, just ask. If something is not intuitive enough, we will fix it.

The custom signature is the “tagline” seen under some member’s forums posts. We gathered the front end site profiles — and previously separate forums profiles — and combined them now. Thank f~~~! Been waiting for this for weeks!

A few other things first before live chat. And we have a few surprises we want to release first.

We restrict the ability to edit your post to 30 minutes. We can increase that to an hour if you really want it, but the reason we don’t allow edits after a certain time is important. You don’t want someone (or even a troll) to post a bunch of s~~~….. have a bunch members spend their time reading and replying to exactly what they wrote…….. and THEN still have the ability to change or delete anything / or everything. It just adds an extra level of removing asshole behavior. It’s not right to generate replies from others and then change it.

As an example….. a member recently asked us to delete 3 entire threads — after generating like 100 replies – because they didnt get the responses they were hoping for. It was like a dickhead troll who just wanted to stir up s~~~….. and then in convenience us to delete everything. What the f~~~ is the point of that?? We can’t allow members to play with other people’s time like that.

You have 30 minutes to make a change or an edit, and if you want to make one later, just send us a link to the post you want to modify. Happy to comply, but throwing entire threads out is not a cool practice.

Thanks KM makes prefect sense now you have explained it, 30 mins is plenty even for me that always reads my posts from an outsider looking in only after its up and 30 mins is usually enough time, preview button would help me in that respect, I think Im making sense when writing it but only notice it makes no sense at all after reading it a few times lol bit slow like that me.

Great point! Thats one of our priorities right now: Custom Fields.

When you joined, we had a number of optional custom fields to fill out …… like what city you’re in, and how long you’ve been a MGTOW “since”. That data still exists, but we are not displaying it as shown right now…. and you need to be able to edit them. So that’s next, probably this weekend or sooner. We had to make “the big switch” and flip bigger switches first, like getting your forums activity consolidated and favorites all viewed in one place.

One of those custom fields you previous had control over was your custom signature. That will be one of them. We require a little patience because we have jobs and lives too. But it’s at the top of the list.

It’s called a custom signature.

You can click on your avatar and it will take you to your forums profile … which is for extra forums settings only.
Click EDIT and then look at the box for “user forums signature” .

Hey FullMetalExpo…. click your avatar anywhere in the forums and you will go to your FORUMS profile. It’s attached to your front end profile but has certain forum-only features – like custom signatures. So click your avatar to see your forum profile… look for “EDIT” …. and then you’ll see place to enter a “custom signature”.
