Since the Philosophy subforum is the place for “inspiration,” I thought I’d create this thread as a repository for all the passages I read on this forum that make me go, “Wow” or “Right on!” or “Amen, brother!”  (I have a feeling that KeyMaster is going to be well represented in this thread.  I’m going to start off with one of his brilliant observations.)

Realize, women treat “children” like property, and they use them as leverage for their own selfish ends with no regard for the child’s well-being. How could they be fit to parent, if they want sole custody and fight in court over sole visitation to deny the child access to one of the parents? That’s inhumane and unacceptable. Any woman who does that (but still happily takes his f~~~ing money) is unfit to parent. Punto Finito.

…females are simply incapable of fairly trading value for value.

“I give you my excess time, attention and energy and you give me yours and we can both have something that we otherwise could not.” is the basic premise of the business, friendship and romantic partnership. Even if you *could* find a female who recognized her value and was willing and able to trade it to you fairly for your own, she would not be able to do so for long.

Females are optimizers (hypergamy) and can not be satisfied with a fair trade….and you simply can’t trade fairly with someone whose strategy is to loss lead, lull you into a sense of security and then take advantage of you while trying to convince you that it’s your fault…

Thank you, KeyMaster.  And I neglected to point out in the original post that everyone on the site should feel free to post here any “purple patches” from their fellow MGTOW that they find inspirational as well.  This thread was by no means intended by me to be solely for my own use.  All are welcome to participate.

In a thread in the Philosophy forum about the meaning of freedom, MariusD insightfully wrote a beautiful bit of philosophy worthy of Friedrich Schelling:

Freedom is when that you value the most cannot be taken away[, w]hen you are the only person you need to ask permission for or the only one whose decisions affects your path in life. Freedom is the “empty” space between areas of control.  Avoid the areas of control out of your life, and you have freedom. Prevent det, marriage, children or binding contracts. Prevent social pressures that enslave you….and develop habits that cannot be scrutinized. The worst enslavement is the enslavement where you enter in yourself, because you will blame others and never be able to escape because you would not let yourself escape.

Freedom is the “empty” space between areas of control.

The ability to rip apart, divide, destroy, etc. provides this “empty” space.  However this has caused much suffering for many men at the mercy of a corrupted system.

Ironsoldier:  Your attempts are noble, but I fear subjectivity can “blind” this thread.  After all if “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” than you are deriving truth as you see fit.

On a side note, I wonder if I should have changed my forum name to “The Devil’s Advocate” because it seems that is all I do with these philosophy threads.  Or maybe instead of disagreeing I am just touching up someone else’s work of art.

In at least one post, our own docfenderson explains the lot of men in current society:

Men are abused, mistreated, sued, cheated, mutilated, punished and even killed simply because we are men… by lovers, bosses, judges, family members and society at large. The Men’s Rights Movement believes it can correct this mistreatment through social activism and legislation and secure respect and admiration from society but MGTOW believe this is futile and that the only way society will stop treating us as disposable utilities is if we refuse to be useful and disposable.
