Apology accepted, but no apology needed really! I needed what you gave me. In fact I was thinking about your advise tonight! You’ve helped me out, I’m not kidding. You also put it in my head in such a way as to ensure that it will never fall out. I forget it from time to time but never completely. I told you one reason why, but there are others. I do such things too when I am alone on the road but I don’t do them in a row. My tires should last a little longer than 5 minutes. And I only have 2/5ths of his power…

And I perfectly avoid “obstacles” that could kill me if I messed up… Buses, trains, water, concrete and other drivers. And CCTV cameras on supermarket parking lots…

In the early 90’s, I had a friend who could also drive like that. Less risky but almost as skillful. And I learned a lot from him. But we were both too poor to afford wrecking cars during the leaning curve.

He always wrecked his junkjard takeaways and probably wrecked 10 cars during the first 2 years of his license. 2 times I was his involuntary crash test dummy.

The greatest loneliness is the kind that someone tries to force upon you.

The loneliest times of my life were when I was in relationships. I was not aware of redpill knowledge nor stoic philosophy so I felt I had no control and felt alone when my partner’s at those times felt the need to persecute me. Not to mention most people fear the unknown of living alone when they are used to living with others most of their lives.

You can be lonely anywhere, look at Japan, very high density of people living there and they are some of the most lonely people in the world.

I live with my parents, but I don’t mind spending most of my time to myself. Self improvement and discovery is great I find at using ones time more productively than worrying.

Think of all the poor saps who are being grilled by partners who don’t appreciate them and are stressing over a holiday that is supposed to be fun. Be glad if you are alone that that is not an issue for you.

If you are seeking company, then go for a walk and strike up a conversation with someone, even if it is brief. Another option is to help someone in need, on your own terms of course.

You can take solace in philosophy, I like the stoics such Epictetus, MA etc. You can get some ideas from the Youtube channel ‘School of Life’. Then borrow or buy some books and enjoy the quiet time to read.

The chapter on ‘Listening to thought’ is particularly useful for coming to acceptance of unpleasant emotions and thoughts. Remember, the brain is sneaky and likes to catastrophise and make you think you ‘have’ to have something or you are inadequate, those thoughts are to be observed and challenged; even laughed at to put us in perspective.

Christmas is just another day of the year. Personally I like it becase of the Xmas trees with the lights. I was always in such awe of them as a child.

I like to tell myself ‘I will have a good day regardless of what happens’, and I do this to take the pressure off my mind wanting for everything to go smoothly. I’ve used it before in stressful work places and it helps.
