    This could be another sign, that women won’t be able to market their vaginas for a date, their have to work for it. I can see that happening!

    They didn’t mention the fact that it probably isn’t so effective because it is crammed in mens’ faces all the time. Anything can become ineffective if it is used all the time. We’re men, human beings, not ATM’s that spit out money upon the sight of sexual images.

    It doesn’t sell anymore because the manginas out there are becoming increasingly aware of the fact that they might be accused of being a sexist, misogynist, rape apologist or women hater, but more importantly, their girlfriends are most likely too fat to fit in whatever these ads are trying to sell. So they’d rather suppress their true biological needs and surround themselves with fuglies while power-sniffing that layer of her fat armpit sweat cheese to empower their “manliness”.

    Note that good advertising kills a bad product.

    That is, if you have a really lousy product, and you advertise the heck out of it, and claim it has properties that it doesn’t, people’s opinion *drops*. This is a truism in marketing.

    Many men at this point have been through Hell with women. Many men have dated a beautiful or cute or pretty woman at least once in their lives, and are aware that beauty/cuteness/etc. tends to be a state that certain women have some of the time, but they look awful a lot of the rest of the time. Heck, even I clean up nice in a suit.

    So you have men who are increasingly aware – beyond mere Photoshop – that women’s looks are generally an artifice. Men are increasingly aware that how women behave in Playboy or porn is how they behave 1% of the time, when they’re trying to lure men or get them to do something. Men are increasingly aware that women are stupid c~~~s the vast and overwhelming majority of the time, and that ads are mostly just lies.

    I’m a Mopar guy from the 80s. Used to love Chrysler/Dodge. I see an ad for a new Town & Country, and don’t even consciously think “what a piece of s~~~”. I just ignore it. It no longer registers in my consciousness.

    Sex in advertising, for many men (not most, not all, obviously) is moving towards this point.

    Speaking for myself, women and their vaginas have no market value. Consider the amount of sex partners the average female has had. 26% of females start having sex at 15 years of age. It appears to me that by the time most women are in their 20’s and 30’s, they’ve already accumulated a significant notch count.

    A vagina that’s been banged by 5, 10, 15+ guys just doesn’t have any value. For me, I don’t think there is any way for a woman to compensate for that. She is used and damaged “goods”, forever. I don’t know why any sane man pay for that s~~~?

    Advertisement delivery is primarily on TV. Most of us unplugged from that so we don’t get that.

    Most people use ad-block on the internet, and even if we didn’t those ads were just annoying and we wouldn’t want to look at that.

    What’s really left?

    The elites killed the golden goose. They figured elevating women above men and sending women into the workforce, and then importing immigrants at slave wages would give themselves more profit, and it sort of did in the short term but now everything is tapped out.

    There is no point to advertisement because nobody has money. Most of it goes to the government or Wall St. anyway.

    While I’d like to think that this is because men are finally getting tired of being seduced by brain-dead super models into thinking with their wrong head, It’s more likely, like you and others point out, that the public has just been saturated with this trash. In any case, it’s still good news.
    A century ago men could be turned on by the sight of a woman’s ankle. Now women and fashion have so pushed the envelope that they feel that have to be almost naked to attract attention. Keep it up girls and anything less than full nudity will be boring.

    Be wary. Think tanks spew out intentional bulls~~~ to influence people such as marketing teams. SJW have been trying to puritanize media and this may be another front from a University group full of feminist. Yes, maybe sex may not work as well, but they are drawing the wrong conclusion on purpose to influence marketing companies to adopt specific policies. Notice it also attacks violence.

    For instance, maybe sex doesn’t sell for Victora Secret products because men aren’t wasting money on that s~~~ anymore. Their biased politically influenced conclusion is to make things less sexual. Not the fact that men aren’t going to waste their f~~~ing money on bulls~~~.

    This was not put out by some corporate think tank but the result of a well constructed study at a major university. Who cares if there are feminists there, the result is good news for MGTOWS. It shows that women are losing their weapon, the illusion of the promise 0f sex, to sell products and manipulate men.

    My name is RoyDal, and I approve the above previous posts. All the PPs. However, I am not running for office; nor am I trying to sell something. Besides which I have it on good authority that I am not a sex symbol.

    I wonder if the ad biz will ever figure out that portraying men as beyond-clueless idiots is in fact not an incentive for these same men to rush down to Walmart and snatch their product off the shelves. So far, figuring out that insulting half your customer base is a bad idea has not penetrated the board rooms of ad agencies or their corporate clients.

    I just go my own way. And, I do not (as in “never”) buy crap from producers who portray men as brain dead losers who need their wives and grade school age daughters to find their asses without a map. I am just one man who does not buy their junk, but it is possible that 100-million men like me are starting to have a collective impact.

    On a sadder note while sex does not sell as much lately, we are seeing the beginning of commercials with subtle and not so subtle overtones of lesbianism. This is not to attract men who get turned on by lesbians, but to women because they advertise female products. The Jergins Skin Moisturizer commercial for example where one woman rubs another woman who just stepped out of the shower and says, “Let me know when this feels weird” and another ad where the same woman says she would have told her about the lotion last night but “You were already asleep”, Implying they were sleeping together. This in addition to the blatant lesbian one where one woman gives another a box of Hershey’s Premium Kisses and they eat them staring lovingly into each others eyes. I have noting against lesbians but I do not appreciate the subtle brainwashing going on in these ads.
    Having studied market research methods, I know that big corporations do not launch multi-million dollar marketing and advertising campaigns without first doing extensive market research, so what you see on the media is a good indicator of what the public, especially the female public, wants. The message here is that women are so much sexier than men and therefore make better partners for other women.
    Women are also depicted as so much smarter than men. The typical commercial depicts the stupid man struggling to do something when a smart woman comes along and shows him how much easier it is with the product.
    Today’s commercials are based on and perpetuate the idea of female superiority, both sexually and intellectually, and male inferiority.

    Good point, Roy Dal. While enlightened men like us mgtows are turned off by these ads the vast majority of ads are pitched at women with there endless number of beauty, diet and fashion products. There also now seems to be a flood of jewelry ads directed at manginas who are willing to go into hock buying expensive jewelry to impress their “ladies”. Lets hope that some of these manginas are starting to see the light.
