You godless heathens will be accused of trolling and attacking other people’s beliefs. You will be ridiculed, told you are not a brother, you will be called a women and requests for your perma ban will be made.

That actually how some members behave here all the while believing they are being persecuted.

God exists, I find it hard not to believe that for my own reasons, though I don’t see any Religion as his ideology, in my opinion, they are nothing, but means of controlling free men, therefore, I don’t advocate for any of them.

Most can’t even define it clearly. “God is love” tells me nothing, because it is almost meaningless and if it is love, just call it love.

Not having a universal “definition” of god is just another one of the Theists’ wild cards. When the Atheist says “there is no god” the Theist will say that that claim isn’t valid because properly defining god is supposedly beyond the capability of mortal man. God is apparently beyond our ability to fully comprehend. Yet they will claim that their definition or version of their god is real to them.

If I were to claim that the rotten carrot laying in the bottom of my fridge is ‘my’ god, creator of the universe, you cannot refute that. That’s my belief and my own interpretation of ‘god’. You must (or are suppose to) respect it…

(This is why many Theists you will now find disavow organized religion. They don’t want to be constrained to any one definition or version of a god. If their god can be anything they would like it to be, it pretty much defeats most counter arguments from the Atheist.)

Everybody knows god exists with 100% certainty.

an atheist denies God’s existence so you can go around sinning without accountability.

So says professional apologist Sye Ten Bruggencate.

My take is that when it comes to ‘God’, whatever it is, cannot be fully reckoned by mortals.

Mortals don’t need to fully reckon it to know it exists or not.

If an infinitely powerful being wanted us to know it existed then we just would. there would be no atheists or agnostics.

    conclusion;

A god exists and is playing a universe level hiding game.

    Or

    No god exists

    That settles it for me.

I believe in the one who made this place and who made the things that inhabit this place.

    Either something came from nothing.

    Or

There was something always there and form that thing then everything else came.

This site was sold by its original owner in secret. There is new management that doesn't care about quality. The new site is much better https://theindependentman.org

an atheist denies God’s existence so you can go around sinning without accountability.

So says professional apologist Sye Ten Bruggencate.

Step 1: Tell atheists what they think and, in a real way call them liars (“You know God exists, even though you say you don’t” I heard that said to one !)

Step 2: After patronizing them, insulting them and calling them liars, complain about “angry atheists”.

    Great plan !

I could just as easily say “No Christians really believe any of that !”

Who am I to tell them what they think ?

And the whole “they really believe in God” thing was not dreamed up by Bruggencate, he got it out of Paul’s writings in the bible.

Yes, the same book that tells of talking snakes, people coming back from dead and all the other stuff that is absurd. If it wasn’t called “The Bible”, it would be discarded as mythology, just like the Norse, Greek and Egyptian mythologies.

So Bruggencate says atheists really believe in a God.

Just like Tradcons say that MGTOWS really want to “settle down” and marry.

If it is wrong for me to tell a Christian “You don’t really believe that”, then it is just as wrong for a Christian to tell anyone “You really do believe that.”

Leave the double standards to the SJWs and the Feminists, they do it so much better.

I agree with this. I feel like God is so complex he doesn’t see us as people the way we do. I feel like he sees us as rocks in the sense that our intelligence compared to God would be similar to a rock’s. So technicaly I don’t believe in God in the traditional sense, but I believe something is going on. Something BIG. Something DEEP.

Gee that really narrows it down, very precise. Answers all the big questions that men have asked for centuries……sarcasm.

Dude. You just made me laugh out loud. I’m know it doesn’t mean much to say ‘something is going on’ but do you know what I mean? Do you really think this is all just random?

My problem with religions is that they seem to be the source of most of the world’s horrible conflict, dating back thousands of years ago, whenever you have a mass murder, you can bet that some fool said that God demanded him to lead such an act.

Back in the days, when you wanted your people to follow a certain path or conduct in a certain way, you couldn’t say “well, the council decided that X”, no you had to say that it’s because God said so. I hope I am not insulting anyone, but this is my personal opinion, religion is the opposite of freedom.

How would expect me to respond to your position of “something is going on” else just random”.

You have presented no coherent argument or question.

    Could you try again please.

But to address the other side of the original question:

No, MGTOW is not a religion, but it seems to me a lot of the Christians around here can reconcile it.

I think the issue is religious folk need to feel that whatever they are doing is consistent with God’s word.

The bible is very malleable about getting it to agree or disagree about anything and everything.

The bible pretty much condones and condemns everything simultaneously. All depends what you choose to emphasis and what you choose to ignore.

Most of the sand in this thread seems to be getting in the fannies of the atheists, but hey, the Christians are the dogmatic fundamentalists right?

Respect other peoples beliefs and opinions, that’s the best bet.

Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?

It’s the same guy in every thread. Completely s~~~s all over everyone and picks fights. It is getting to the point that I’m considering asking Keymaster to just delete my account. It’s just outright disrespectful, and obviously this member is not going to be asked to stop.

Are you serious? I think you are being hypersensitive.

Many voices on this thread are arguing the same way as I am.

    Are you trolling me?

    Naw.

If you look closely you generally see religion is just the excuse, not the source. For example there’s a reason why the leaders of the First Crusade were landless nobles looking to conquer kingdoms for themselves, and you can bet it wasn’t because “God willed it”.
