I keep hearing this from my family and friends all the time. I have very few friends I keep into contact with and they’re always annoying as f~~~ the longer I hang out with. Same goes for family.
I’ve always been more of a loner type. I love my solitude with the occasional forum posts/game chats. That’s about as much socializing I do in any given day.
But my family especially, keeps nagging me “I need to socialize more” “Socializing is healthy for you” “You need to find more people to do things with”
My question is why? As long as you’re happy being alone I see no reason to socialize unless you absolutely need to (like if you’re trying to build a strong network for your career).
In the words of George Carlin: I like people, but I like them in short bursts. I don’t like people for extended periods of time. I’m alright with them for a little while, but once you get past around a minute, minute and a half, I gotta get the f~~~ outta there.
Do what makes you happy. Go your own way.
Now, it could be that you seem upset or angry, that’s why they’re offering up these suggestions to you. If you appear fully satisfied in life, the suggestions may go away.

Anonymous3It’s a woman thing. Women are weak and very dependent, their strength is to dominate others and force burdens on others. So women want men to “socialize” so men can be conditioned, abused, and attacked into following the female imperative.
That’s why they hate MGTOW too.
Women can babble they don’t need men and that they are strong and independent, but it’s a farce. The second men leave, the entire thing collapses, and women just stand there hopelessly, unable to survive, depressed and anxious.
I don’t talk to people that don’t respect me and don’t give me a benefit. I am civil and cordial. But people don’t expect me to show up at places and give me my space. I’ve pretty much demanded it. And I think most masculine men are the same. Only effeminate men want to socialize and obey women.

They’re not offering suggestions, they’re constantly nagging. There’s a big difference. This is one of the main reasons i try to stay away from them as much as possible.

I’m the same way. I’m pretty professional around most people whether it’s friends or family. But generally, I hate small talk and how other people’s days went. I hate talking about the weather, or the traffic. I hate talking about the random news story on TV or whether or not Kim Kardashian is going to do X at any given moment.
This is why I generally hate being around people. Most, if not all of them, only talk about stupid s~~~ I couldn’t care less about.

My mom says the same thing decade after decade since I blew out on the world and gave everything a big fat kiss goodby!
Year after year after year, asshole woman after asshole woman, time and time again being manipulated, being ostracized, love one minute, hate the next, every day an unstable roller coaster ride with no safety bar, one minute everything is stable and the next minute you’re hated and thrown in the back of a police car!

After a fit of laughter, I told her “If you only knew what I know about online dating.” and left it at that.
