I really like Youtube if only to watch MGTOW vids and Tom Leykis re-runs.

You won’t get those on Cable or Satellite. There’s nothing like kicking back in your bed listening to Leykis or watching some Terrence Popp on your TV on your schedule. Over the air TV is not too bad either these days.

My mom used to try to force me to listen to Jimmy Swaggert back in the 80s especially when I was hung over. I used to tell her he was a fraud. It turned out I was right. We used to watch Swaggert at my friend’s house while baked on Jamaican Red Haired or Colombian Gold buds. We’d laugh our asses off at him.

I’m taking my dishes down and won’t even watch for free! I’m all done being fed an intellectual pile of liberal feminist dog s~~~!

I’m removing my dish from my roof and tossing it. I’ve just got to fill the screw holes and replace a shingle.

I do need a more efficient antenna to get the Georgia and South Carolina PBS stations over the air which would put me at 20+ over the air channels. Digital TV does not have the range that analog had. Our Georgia PBS station has it’s transmitter located in this hick town about 40 miles as the crow flies from where I live.

They say external TV antennas are making a comeback these days.

Yep. That’s definitely a better deal than TV all around. If Tom Leykis had his own TV network, then I might subscribe to cable or satellite. But, I know even the government would try to censor shows like that.

This is why I’m glad to be living in this day and age. You get to take advantage of s~~~ like Netflix, Youtube, Chromecast, Amazon, etc. For on demand TV shows and movies.

I think this video sums up how the American movie industry is now:

I enjoy watching anime for older audiences because the writers still acknowledge the differences between men and women, even when the lead character is female. For example, the one series with a female protagonist I was watching had her smiling and being nice to other women while her inner monologue had her thinking jealous thoughts about them. She was also smiling and laughing at everything a boy she likes was saying despite being in a bad mood and she’d fake cry to get his attention when the opportunity presented itself.

Cut the cord. Do not go the movies in the theater. We must starve the gynocentric beast. If it’s not free, do not watch it.

Older movies are so much better than modern ones. There are no special effects per se. The writers had to actually be creative instead of cookie cutter Illuminati approved scripts. The women were feminine and the men were well, men.

I firmly believe modern video entertainment is in the process of destroying itself. The last movie I went and saw in theater was Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ”. The PC f~~~s went apoplectic over it. The story and cinematography were top notch. Yet, he received no awards. Snubbed if I recall correctly. That would be 12 years since I last set foot in a movie theater.

Cinematography is huge for me. The way they treated this movie was huge in my decision to quit going the theaters.

I think one type of anime I still like is called seinin. It’s directed towards older men. Shows like Gangsta. and Ghost In The Shell for exmaple. I love those types of anime.

I thought that movie was good at least for a religious movie, but I think it focused too much on the killing and Crucifixion than the actual teaching behind that story of the bible. I do agree though, that Mel Gibson deserved an award for that movie.

The last movie I went and saw was Batman V Superman. It was great, but it was gynocentric as f~~~. And when Wonder Woman showed up, they focused on her like clock work for about a whole 5 minutes non-stop.

Absolutely! I watch them with intrigue! Not like the new movies where every minute my MGTOW feminazi bells are ringing! It’s become a shooting gallery where I fire back without even trying!

The last in public movie I saw was Avatar, the ultimate high priced tree huger movie, I walked out after they made a tree cutting guy like me #1 enemy and a ruthless villein!

I said it before and I’ll say it again, a MGTOW written, edited and directed movie would be #1 on the charts, off the charts, as people watch it again and again…

If these libtard f~~~s gave editing to me their movies would end right after the federal warning! The whole f~~~ing thing would be chopped to bits on the editing room floor. 50 million dollars for a pile of nitrocellulose to burn is awfully damned expensive!

I have one very old TV with a converter box on it that I use for watching local news and weather, useful for some things relating to work. Any others I had wore out and where recycled years ago.

As for anything else, when this TV goes I am getting the cheapest thing I can find. It can save a little time when I have to eat and run and don’t want to unpack or use my laptop.

@C-Pig is onto something here. One thing I have been impressed by is how few “Millennials” have Cable TV. I cut the cord a long time ago and don’t miss it. Anything I really enjoy can be had cheaply or freely over the internet. There is a growing list of classics available for free from places like YouTube or Internet Archive.

For everything else, an old set of “Rabbit Ears” from the 1980’s gets me all the local channels I would ever need.

I can’t stand 99% of these new TV shows. Reality TV is staged stupidity and so many other programs are like the old Soap Operas my mom used to watch. I don’t want to “commit” to watching every one of them because I have a life.

My “IT Guy” is going to give me a bunch of “Old Time Radio” shows he listens to in his workshop. He has whole seasons of shows that he has playing on a random shuffle from an old laptop. They are free and a few he already gave me are nice to listen to in the car or doing other things. I felt lucky to be let into his workshop and the old radio shows playing in the background instead of a TV gave it a different vibe that I liked.

Perhaps if I suffer from TBI I could enjoy TV again. The entertainment options we have today make TV obsolete.

I watch tv only for the 9:00 PM Show ABC’s Shark Tank but only because its really good business education.

Also if there’s nothing good for dinner, I can’t eat without watching TV. But when I have a place of my own, TV’s definitely not in my budget. I’ll switch to online shows full-time.

The last movie I watched in the theater was the “Lord of the Rings” triology. I got the extended versions on DVD, and has since not gone to the theater as every movie has proven to be pieces of s~~~e. It is possible to make good movies, but not by Hollywood. They need to be starved and buried 6 feet below.

My cable system has thirty some odd channels dedicated to nothing but streaming music across all genres. One song follows the other without interruption and without any announcements. The only video displayed while the audio plays are rotating shots of the artist in question, a text “crawl” naming the song and providing other information, and static newspaper-style ads for local businesses.

Apart from checking the weather or watching the occasional game, nearly all the time I’m “watching” television I’m actually listening to one of those music channels while doing something else.

There was probably a time in my life when I thought that I couldn’t live without television. But that was back when TV shows were actually good. You know, like…I’m talking about the days when The Simpsons used to be funny. Feels like a lifetime ago, I know.

But I cancelled my TV license sometime last year and have barely even noticed the difference that it’s made. And judging by what people have told me, it doesn’t sound like I’m missing anything. My sister sometimes raves to me about how awesome Gotham is, but I don’t know if I can be bothered. I’m certainly not going to reinstall the whole bloody thing just for one bleeding show. She and I rarely like the same things anyway. If I’m totally honest, I thought that Days of Future Past was garbage, whereas she loved it. As such, I couldn’t give two s~~~s about this new X-Men that’s is coming out soon – which is kind of a shame, because I used to be a huge X-Men fan. But they ruin everything these days.

If I want a laugh, there are plenty of funny videos on YouTube. If I’m in the mood for drama, I’ve got an impressive DVD collection. If I want something confronting or thought-provoking, I own a couple of controversial books – I recently bought a copy of Columbine, about the 1999 high school massacre. And against my previous judgement, that was a fascinating read.

So it’s just not worth it to me. Takes a chunk out of the monthly bills too.

Modern television, and entertainment in general, sucks big time. I find refuge in watching shows online made in the 60’s – 80’s. Think there will ever be another Andy Griffith, Jim Anderson,Al Bundy or Archie Bunker? Think again.Even the women were decent. Look at Elizabeth Montgomery, Lucille Ball, to name a few. They dressed and looked like women, weren’t covered in tattoos and weren’t usually land whales.

Just about all the good movies were also made in the 60’s – 80’s. There are a few exceptions but every time I decide to watch a movie, it’s an older movie. They were just much better.

And yes, women dressed and looked like women; also men dressed and looked like men.
