I think what you should do is take your news from as many different sources as possible and then view it through the lens of your own common sense and experience to arrive at a world view which is based on facts and intelligence rather than the twisted narrative being pushed by the mainstream media at the time.

I gave up on TV a long time ago for other reasons. I was in the underground scene in my city as a teenager and during my 20s. By and large I was very anti everything on TV broadcast. I just couldn’t stand the onslaught of the lies perpetuated by the media. I don’t mind certain shows and since streaming has come into play I will pick and choose a few shows and movies but I still shun the news/cable TV.

I’ve noticed the gyncocentric crap coming through in certain shows, more so recently. I recently made a post about it in regard to the Fuller House show. They definitely make the men out to be complete morons who scramble for the attention of the underachieving women. It’s pretty bad.

I have a cable box but I’ve never turned it on, it’s still unopened in the packaging. I only have the damned thing because it makes my total bill actually cheaper if I bundle it with cable TV and phone service.

Gave up tv about fifteen years ago. For me, it was the shaky-cam and those quick-cut edit commercials that give me vertigo and even nausea. Over the years, put together a library of favorite dvds and blu-rays .. no commercials ever again.

Yeah this is what I watch if anything. I’m actually learning French(Russian next) right now and spend my free time doing that , watching MGTOW vid’s on youtube , and here. If you can’t find good anime try watching more Shonen anime(anime aimed at a male demographic). For example Jojo is a shonen, and that guy earlier is right it’s definitely got no gynocentrism since it’s mostly an all male cast. In fact the most of the main characters shun females like the plague.

But I totally understand where you’re coming from. TV is mostly just inane brainwashing. I don’t enjoy watching it for more than a few seconds or else I’ll feel like buying something. When I do I mostly watch my favorite shows on DVR so I can skip the commercials. I don’t even watch the news anymore, just get all my news online.

I gave up on TV after seeing an episode of the original Survivor series. Nowadays I’m down to watching an occasional SuperBowl. Even so the commercials have gotten to the point that I’ve begun avoiding that.

As for background noise. If I need it I’ll just stick a Monty Pythons DVD in and get some decent comedy.

I love most Shonens if only for the fights. I do find most of the plots however to be boring and repetitive as f~~~ so they get old after a while. Not to mention if they’re a long series, you have to worry about whether or not they’ll be cancelled at some point (like Bleach).

I stopped watching the one eyed monster when I found streaming sites for my favorite cartoons and anime. The same goes for old TV shows that weren’t completely contaminated with gynocentrisim.

Yeah, I loved the old time war documentaries especially. Now, I don’t even think about turning to The History Channel anymore.

And I think it went downhill around 2008/10 most likely. That’s when most TV went to s~~~. Even in 2005 there were still plenty of good shows on.

I don’t watch anything that was made after about 2005 it starts to get really bad about that time. Watching old movies and TV shows after seeing new films and tv shows is just a shock, no agenda’s, no women playing at being Bruce Lee, actual funny non PC jokes.

The news is terrible and I only seek out sources myself online that I know are actually independent.

Don’t even get me started on the ads.

I have no time for commercial nor cable tv because close to 90% of it is bulls~~~ or mind deadenig
tripe served as a staple diet to sheeple.
I do have a quadruple redundancy entertainment system I update every two weeks with well over 7000k of various movies and programs that I like. All categorized, such as action movies, sci-fi and so on.

Drama, love stories and especially reality tv shows are not on my radar.
If I want that, all I need to do is think about my life or look at the world and people around me.

YouTube reminds me of what the History Channel used to be. YouTube and a Chromecast are a really nice combo.

The need to change the name of the History Channel. Kill it and put it out of it’s misery. I suggest the Vapidity Channel.

The thing that freaks me out is that all of my video and Internet comes through 80+ year old POTS line tech. They used to say 56K was the theoretical maximum. Thanks to MEN, that is no longer the case.

I refuse to deal with Comcast on any level. AT&T is massively upgrading its infrastructure in my city plus another cable outfit has moved into town to compete with Comcast. They are not ready to do residential. yet. Both entities are running new fiber all over my city.

Background noise? All I ever hear between the keyboard clicking is my Pentium crackling and C drives spinning on two machines. The Batcave is now reopened!

That reminds me, I have to hook the other machine on line and get all the updates since 2005, but not this machine, it’s Windows XP R.I.P. 2014.

P.S. C-Pig, I have no problem with the History Channel because it really is the history channel, along with all the others… I could put my jacking skills back to work for free satellite TV, all the channels, all the time, absolutely free! Instead I’m taking my dishes down and won’t even watch for free! I’m all done being fed an intellectual pile of liberal feminist dog s~~~!

Haha, awesome. I still live with my parents because I’m paying off my college debt and we have no sound proofing in our walls. So I have to deal with the TV whether or not I turn it on in my room. It’s a pain also, because everyday around 3pm my mom turns on Dr. Phil. So I have to listen to his bulls~~~.
