From the looks of it, MGTOW is inherently small government and compulsion free. If you want to take part and build something fine, but if you just want to be a hermit, do that then. You’re supposed to have the right to chose. A large government is controlling and invasive with lots of rules to dictate your behavior. A small government relies on respecting your civil rights and not infringing on them, just because someone is hungry. That person can get a job, you shouldn’t have to feed him, for example.

I am a moderate democrat and a MGTOW. While I am a democrat, I would never vote for Hillary.

There is being MGTOW in the sense of not marrying women, or avoiding them to some degree.  This can happen for a lot of reasons, and doesn’t involve politics.

There is the aspect of going your own way and autonomy, which will generally connect with men who want to have less government.  This would be libertarian/anarchist.

There is the MGTOW because of dislike of what feminism is done, and not believing it can happen today, but wanting what is seen as an old school women who will submit and loyal to you.  A MGTOW with this would likely be traditional-conservative.

There is MGTOW as a case of wanting to do your own thing, and liberation, which can be seen as liberal.

MGTOW lays on an entirely different axis than left or right.
