First I said MANY not ALL. I also want to say that I am in no way condoning abuse towards any person. I am also not interested in the psychology of women, why they are drawn to and stay with abusive men. I am neither blaming men or women for this, as this is all heresay anyways (Was the guy really that bad or was she bad to him too?).
What I am interested in knowing is…….what is the motivation for men who abuse their girlfriends/fiances/wives.
I can’t tell you how many women I have spoken with in my life who claim that their boyfriend/fiance/husband was abusive towards them. Most of them say that it was not really much, if any, physical abuse. Only verbal abuse, put downs, making them feel like yesterday’s garbage.
My very own Mother claims that Dad has verbally abused her their entire marriage of 45 years. Dad responds with “But SHE has abused the hell out of me all these years!”
Women are parasites. Each and every last one of them.

Sure 30-40 yrs ago the police wouldn’t do much if you had to ‘explain’ things to your wife but now a guy just has to grab her arm hard and he’s hauled off to jail.

Men don’t wake up in the morning, yawn, scratch their b~~~~ and say “gee I think today would be a really good day to abuse my girlfriend /wife”. But women wake up and get out of bed with deliberate intent to create problems, drama and conflict – by their own admission.

I think it’s a combination of things. Women do antagonize normal men until they flip out and become violent. I’ve unfortunately experienced it first hand. Luckily I was able to learn how to deal with it and stop letting her make me angry.
However, there are some violent men who actually enjoy having power and control over women – and these women generally get off on being controlled/abused most of the time.

I am sure there are many kinds of people on this world. There are evil men. And I am sure that SOME men will abuse their woman.
However, another thing that I am sure is that you cannot trust whatever any woman says.
My wife, that by all standards is regarded as a “serious woman”, twists reality like a pretzel to fit her agendas. It blows my mind and I am perfectly aware of the hell she will unleash on my life when the SHTF.
So, even if a man is a saint, after a broken relationship he becomes the devil according to his ex.

But to answer you question: nobody, in my whole life, has ever insulted me so deeply, thoroughly and repeatedly as my own wife. I can perfectly understand if some men cannot control themselves.
