You’re right. Anyone remember several years ago when Jessica Simpson left Nick Lachey? Apparently she took the easy way out by not even telling him that she was drawing up divorce papers. I have a good mate whose missus of 10 years just gave him the boot. She cited control issues, amongst other things. I haven’t read too deeply into that yet.

He got lucky: no kids, co-owned a house with her. He could’ve come off a lot worse after a decade-long relationship. Now he’s living in a nice apartment in the city, very well paying mining job etc. Dude’s got it made, in other words. He should be living it up…but he just can’t let the pussy go. He wants to stay friends and she keeps him completely on the back foot because of it; he’d jump off a building if she told him too.
