We are all individuals. Society is largely unguided. There is no “collective unconscious”. What you’re witnessing is simply emergent behavior in a complex system, not any sort of actual collective intelligence.

Consider this: Men’s physiology has evolved to meet the demands of the environment. Women’s physiology has evolved to meet the desires of men. Throughout history (and prehistory) the physical standard for men has remained fairly constant, but the standards of feminine beauty are constantly changing to match whatever men are into that generation. Sometimes it skinny, sometimes it’s a little fat, though never the complete hambeasts you see today. Sometimes small breasts are in, other times large ones are preferred.
All to please men, not the other way around.

This battle between the sexes is being enacted in order to facilitate a dramatic and permanent change in the relationships between men and women.

Societies generally develop through communication and technical innovation, not violence and conflict. The single greatest societal development in human history was the agricultural revolution. How much violence and conflict is there in figuring out you can shove seeds in the ground to grow crops instead of wandering all over looking for the right plants to gather. The most significant recent societal development was the invention of indoor plumbing. Without it our mega cities would be impossible. How much violence and conflict is there in inventing a flush toilet? Or just look at the communications revolution with the internet. Not a lot of violence there. Mostly it’s just porn and cat videos.
Women are goading men not because women are as nasty as everyone on this site seems to think, but because it is their ‘job’ in a darwinian sense to do so, forcing men to adopt new roles in society that will increase the chances of our survival as a species.
Wrong again. What’s not how evolution works. It is not forward thinking. And that’s not how women work in any case. Women are the conservative impulse in reproduction. What you are proposing, even if natural selection worked that way, which it doesn’t, would require women to be experimentalists. And that just isn’t the case. Their biology doesn’t permit it. Now on a completely different note, all you’ve managed to accomplish in this thread is further cement the probability that you are either some mangina or outright tuna. In either case, it’s clear you think you know a lot more than you actually do.
