    @combatroll

    Yes I’m new here…I’ll do my intro tomorrow.

    Basically my ex was desperate to get out because she was married before our divorce was finalized so I prepared it all and she just signed (that’s an extremely short version of the story).

    So then, he who marries the virgin does well, but he who does not marry her does even better. 1 Corinthians 7:38

    I know you didn’t think it at the time… but you LUCKY BASTARD!

    Sorry you had to marry that c~~~ and find her cheating on you, and nothing will ever truly erase that pain… but you made out like a bandit.

    Happy for you, Brother!

    My ex-wife (for years) use to tell me that if we ever divorced she would not need anything from me and that she’s independent and can provide for herself. Once the divorce was file all of sudden she became a victim, needs everything, and a never ending money supply from me. So much for being independent?…… By the way, she didn’t get what she wanted.

    My ex would say the opposite. She would threaten me if we divorced I would never see my kids and that she would take all my money and take half my paycheck every month for child support and alimony. I will not lie that that freaked me out to the extent that I stuck with her for way too long. BUT it eventually paid off when I caught her cheating witch voids alimony and put her in a desperate situation to give me the kids and pay me child support in order to keep her charade going with her Chad.

    I’m happy for you – but how did getting caught cheating make her relinquish the kids to you and pay child support? I get that her cheating got you off the hook for alimony. Congrats!

    My ex was seeing a Chad who lived far away. She didn’t have a job and I knew she couldn’t keep up with her new relationship while also keeping the kids full time. She basically didn’t want the kids and I kept the house which is close to their school and I coach their hockey teams etc…I pretty much continued on (as well as I could) with normalcy while she was out trying lock down a new Chad (who she did). I just posted my intro btw…

    Why dont you sell all your items, assets and whatever to a family member for a low price say 10$? Then duck out? This way if you get divorced, you’ll have an empty bank account. Once You’re out of the marriage, can you then buy back from your family member/ friend all the things you sold for 10$? Sounds crazy I know, but if you legally sell your s~~~, she can’t take it from you right? What about gifting/ donating your money. Sure You’ll take a hit tax wise, but what is that compared to the preservation of your assets? I could be totally of my rocker here, but just been thinking of ways to “safetly” flush your items to safety.

    She has no backups, which is why she “wants” to work it out.

    Plus shes worried about her social statis, because you came to her about it. Thats a big no-no in the sisterhood.

    Remember, women always plan for revenge. Longer you wait, more likely its going to happen.
