Whether their claim is legit or not I don’t know, but Palestinians reckon their claim to ‘Palestine’ goes back further than the Jewish one. Philistines lived in the region when the Israelites were still in Egypt.

Jerusalem was built by the jews, not Philistines or Palestinians. Whatever they built, if anything, is gone. Muslims and Palestinians claim the land is Islamic, not Philistine. Islam came after the jews. Only non Muslims claim it is Philistine land.
