Do you realize they have just made the entire storylines of 4-6 irrelevant.

They could have just taken their biggest cruisers, rigged them to fly remotely, and jumped to lightspeed into both death stars and the emperors flagship. All the stupid space battles killing milions and decimating their fleets now appear idiotic.

Even same with 7. Lightspeed a remote controlled cruiser into the “surface” power regulator control structure.

Honestly, I thought they were doing this deliberately. I watched via and immediately thought iv.

They split Luke into 3 characters – poe, Finn and rey. The natural pilot, the reluctant participant, and force sensitive hero. Death star now massive sun killer planet sized death star. Both have flawed designs small fighters destroy. Just in time.

Now viii follows v. Ix will follow vi, hopefully no new ewoks to f~~~ it up.

I know I can’t go to watch any of the recent Star wars movies. I know they will be full of feminist s~~~ about girls doing boy stuff better than boys. I have completely switched off to the whole thing.

I wonder what the young girls today do when they find out they can’t really do boy stuff very well despite being programed by an entire system the think they can. It must be quite upsetting. Maybe that is what makes them such misandrists?

The star wars movies could be described as “monumental movies”.

I could not feel this in this movie.

Despite all the other f~~~ ups, I think this is the biggest: they reduced the entire rebellion to a number that could fit in the Millenium Falcon.

How is that for a “galactic size” political/military movement?

They f~~~ed the whole thing up man. Episode 1…if you weren’t being trained as a Jedi as a little kid you were a risk. If you weren’t pure, you were a risk. Now Rey is like f~~~ing 20, realizes she is a Jedi, and that same day was mind tricking people.

In Episode V, Luke had already been training for years and couldn’t levitate an x-wing. When Yoda did it, it was like wtf is he Jesus? Meanwhile, Rey who at that point had like, 1 lesson from Luke a barely knew what the force was, ends up levitating a giant f~~~ing pile of rocks and tossing them out of the way no problem.

The fight scene with the Praetorian guards was pretty good but beyond that not even a legit lightsaber fight between 2 force users in this movie? We are 2 out of 3 movies in and haven’t really had a good lightsaber fight in this series. At this point I’d rather watch 1-3, some of the CG, or some youtube fan videos for lightsaber fights, and 4-6 if I want to watch something for a great story line…7-8 has just kinda been mediocre at best.

Its pretty obvious the new movies are just affirmitive action/girl power fest. The whole point of the storm troopers is they were all clone troopers/Jango Fett clones. Meanwhile…they have given two troopers a face…Finn and Phasma…neither of which are anything close to a Jango clone.

Plus the biggest things I wanted to see in this movie(series) were a f~~~ing badass Luke Skywalker lightsaber fight, and some background on Snoke…and if you’ve seen this already I think you know why I’d be disappointed with this movie lol.

The women in the movie are generals and fighter pilots. The men walk around like cucks.

When Poe (the only brave man with some b~~~~) confronts his female General he is told to do what he is told and evacuate.

Princess Leia and her pink hair second in command even have a moment where they talk about “liking that one” and “keeping him under wraps” in reference to Poe.

Females in the movie retreat and ultimately end up getting most of the Rebels killed.

S~~~ty movie overall with many many plot holes and cheesy overplayed scenarios.

Seriously Skip this one.

I do not think I have walked out of a movie so angry in my life….spoilers ahead.

1. Light speed kills an entire fleet? Seriously wtf? Does Disney realize they just made snoke, the emperor, Vader, Leia, Luke, Han Solo, and every single general/commander look like total idiots after this stunt. If putting a droid inside a ship and instructing it to jump to light speed at an entire fleet was all it took to win a war, then why the f~~~ is there any conflict at all. Seems to me there is no need for jedi at all since Disney has just informed us light speed is the most powerful force in the galaxy.

2. Apparently Holdo is this feminist icon, wise sage character who proves her valor with sacrifice. There’s only one problem. All of it was f~~~ing ridiculous. Why the f~~~ would she not tell Poe the plan with the escape pods? This would prevent him from sending Finn on a useless, time wasting adventure and saving the audience a painfully wasted 30 minutes. Makes no f~~~ing sense. We could have used that time to see Rey receive her training from Luke ( but according to Disney training for Rey is also not necessary, more on this in a minute). Seems to me feminist propaganda rules that now an unproven female commander that comes out of nowhere must looked wiser than a proven, honorable fighter pilot painted as a reckless dude.

3. Rey never gets any real training, but defeats a Jedi master quickly in a fight. F~~~ing lame. Rey apparently has God-like abilities for no reason at all, that is except for being a woman, which accordingly Disney, is all she needs to beat the forces of evil. No training, no self-control, Nothing, just a pussy is all you need to be a bad ass. In game of thrones, at least arya has to go through 3 full seasons of learning and training before becoming a bad ass.

4. Apparently now a jedi can create a hologram of himself while on a distant planet and while still alive. Yoda must be p~~~ed that Disney was not around for the first 6.

5. The entire plot is based on the rebels running away on a ship cloaked in a shield in a race against time and fuel level. Really???? This is the intelligence level at Disney. You are releasing a film of a legendary franchise and your plot is tied to the amount of gas the ship has? Have these ships always run on fuel?

6. Women fighters and commanders everywhere on the good side. Men on the bad side, and the only bad female only has a female voice. Her body and face is completely covered.

Gentlemen, some things to keep in mind.

Politics is politics. But, money is money.

If what I am reading is true that The Last Jedi was such a poorly written and plotted then that film is going to hurt feminism. Here is how.

So far Disney has released two solid Star Wars movies. Force Awakens (Episode Seven) and Rogue One (a sidestory).

There were a few complaints, but most people agree the movies okay to good.

Sure, Han died in Episode Seven, but in Episode Seven the Han Solo character was treated with respect by the other characters and his death was well done in its tragedy.

The point is that Disney has proven twice they have the resources to produce quality Star Wars movies. If The Last Jedi does not meet that level of quality, those whom produced the movies will likely be in trouble.

From what I am reading from other sources, the final product of the film is not what the actors signed up for. That the situation is like Ghostbusters remake all over again, which is a producer with an agenda gets control of a produce and creates a bastardized final product that only said producer likes. But, this time the situation will be noticed because of how much money Disney stands to lose if the company allows feminism to continue to destroy the potential of profits.

Force Awakens made over two BILLION at the box office. Rogue One (a sidestory) made over a BILLION at the box office.

With the hype and advertisement The Last Jedi is going to clear five hundred million at the very least. But, this is a top rate franchise. And if word of mouth is not good The Last Jedi will not have legs and march to a billion at the box office.

If The Last Jedi does not clear one billion there will be a reckoning towards those over seeing the making of The Last Jedi by either the top Disney executives or the Disney stock holders. Many of these people do not give a damn about politics, what they want is the “proper” people put in charge whom will make the company money so the get their cut of the profits.

If The Last Jedi does not clear two billions questions will be ask and those over seeing the making of The Last Jedi will be put under scrutiny.

Either way this is going to cause those at the top to have a closer look at how the Star Wars and other franchises Disney has are being made. This will insure future projects will have more quality.

We saw this happen in the last 1990’s when the Disney executives put their collective foot down and stop the cheap sequels which were killing their company and produce quality products. The first of these quality products was the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

It should be noted that Disney owns 80% of ESPN. The company already is seeing how politics is hurt their bottom like what the political scandals in ESPN and the NFL.

The reason Disney will do this right now is because reports on other matters state Disney needs the money. But it is an INDUSTRY. They only care about money, that’s why I mostly watch independent films. They’re made with the “Art Of Cinema” in mind (most of them anyway).

I fully disagree. The Empire Strikes Back was superior to A New Hope and that movie explain much of the main villain’s (Vader) motivations.

While there are problems with the prequel trilogy, those movies provided a workable backstory to how the Empire was formed. The prequel trilogy even offers the point of view that Jedi were not as good as they pretend to be.

The Force Awakens is a solid movie.

For non-Star Wars related sequels that have been recently made. Blade Runner 2049 is a cinematic masterpiece which either was equal or better than the original Blade Runner movie.

This is not counting the MCU movies which are mostly good to great. Of the last three MCU movies, which have been on this year. GotG 2 was great movie and better than GotG 1. Thor: R was a solid movie and much better than the first two Thor movies.
