My speculation,

We just witnessed a microcosm of what caused wars centuries ago. Unbridled egos, expecting deference and respect had this abruptly taken from them. They unleashed their army of words against those they felt had wronged them.

A co-worker recently told me, "If you want to see who someone really is, divorce them." I have found out how true this is. When your wife drops the façade of being the caring partner, you will witness all of the greed, hate, and spite that she has masked. It is truly breathtaking!

Call it ego. Call it whatever you want to. But after members contributed and received likes in 10k+ range …. its hard to just up and leave.

It was painful to see the site slowly sinking into oblivion. Mostly, because the c~~~-femnazis would celebrate men getting f~~~ed over because the information was censored.

For mgtow it just doesn’t settle well.

But those members should have acted like men. Plenty of NFG crowd seemed to forget their own message.

No ill will toward any of the greats -CPig, OldSage, MG-Tower, and everyone else- but it was uncharacteristic of men to s~~~ on the site/KM when signing up at other forums. Not the least because they called this site home for years.

MGTOW is for men. And we can’t turn our backs to brothers that provided immense help and support to men who came here seeking solace.

Hopefully they will join us. Men are men.

iLearn, I wholeheartedly agree. We are all human and have the same faults. Some were able to handle the downtime, others not so much. Some were quick to blame.

I would love to welcome back anyone who returned in good faith. I’ve shouted when I should have listened and can forgive others who have made the same mistake.

That Log-In problem affected a lot of members. I was just as p~~~ed off as anybody for being locked out. This is the sort of thing that shows your true character.

Even now after the problem has been resolved some members are holding grudges like vindictive little bitches. Still causing drama about problems that have been fixed.

The behavior reminds me of the girls from my “Middle School Days.” They formed a special “clique” and got off on harassing new members. Taking their clique to the other site. They circle jerked around with each other until they come with this s~~~ like “THE KM is a liar.” Delusions made real by repetition and living in an echo chamber.

Few months ago I said this place has turned to s~~~ and I was right.

There were some real bad apples around here, constantly hurling insults, instigating fights, calling out names.

For example, I got called a pussy f~~~~~ because I own a Harley.

There ‘s no way that piece of s~~~ who made that comment would say that to my face. NO f~~~ing way. But, that’s what internet does. It allows people to cross the line safely without much consequence. The only consequence, in my eyes, is that the site went to s~~~. So, I left for a while.

I’m glad these mother f~~~ers are gone. This site deserves better. I think it’s a lesson for all. This place needs more monitoring. We can’t allow it to turn into a war zone and the message be lost.

Let’s stop all the fighting, insultgs, calling out, bullying. Lets be kind to each other. There is enough hate and bitterness in the world. Let this site be a place for healing for men who were harmed by the system.

KM is honest with us. He could have used some strange excuse like “I had an accident and was in the hospital for 4 weeks” (or so).

But he told us he is busy and I believed it.

But my worries would still be there. What if the others are right and know more than I do?

(Fact 1: KM’s behavior was different this time to what it always was during the last 2 years: Something looked out of place)

(Fact 2: This is not the first MGTOW venue to disappear overnight)

And so I began communicating with the regular folks on “the other site”.

I think that all of us overreacted (I was simply busy to save our text content) but I now post my analysis and justifications members have for going over the top.

And that feeling of abandonment hit those with high “star counts” the most. Simply those who were emotionally invested in the deepest way.

So members “over-ran” KM with insults, deadlines and so on. And this sometimes looked like it escalated and the outcomes (bitch threads and profile deletes) signaled to others that “nobody cares” about the long time regulars.

I then saw an avalanche of s~~~ which caused a logarithmic slide in disenchantment towards this site. That’s how the public eye always works BTW.

If KM is an “alien” now, most likely due to stress… (Bottle feeding my 7 cats)

My suggestion for the next time: Make a second temporary installation of a (basic) forum on a temporary (sub)domain. Just a virgin forum without the old threads, but so the show can go on while the main place is under construction.

And let participants move over (no need for long sign-up intros and stuff…)

It’s like a radio station: They all have 2 or more record players, CD players or computers. If one fails, the show continues seamlessly. And could you imagine a pop radio station with the DJ having to change records during the talk break?
That would sound terrible and the audience would walk out too. (I once saw that happen to a station and they were too dumb to just go out and get a new CD player for a few bucks (1992). So they let every second song skip like hell… And it went on for weeks) (But: Since it was the only rock station at that time in Europe I endured this with patience)(1 Year later, they were done)

Redundancy is king. Especially when millions of listeners or 33 K members use or “need” the service you provide.

I have many more examples in which a longer disruption caused total chaos and permanent customer walkouts.

I am speaking for those who were real and constructive MGTOW writers and not fight starters. But we sadly lost some of those good posters too.

I have said that before… We had the strength to look down on such “bad apples” and keep going. But some of us “chimped out” and threw in the towel.

Unfortunately I have my own anxiety and real life problems to deal with, it’s sad to see such a great website that helped me during my transition to a better life, being compromised by people I trusted were wiser and calmer then me. Sucks..

Actually, you are not the first one to have such thoughts – i had the same reaction towards a minecraft server i enjoy being at:

i never acted on it, because when i stop to think for a few moments, i realize i have nothing to offer but
– a bit of my time (an hour a day late at night before i go to bed?)
– my best intentions (oh shiiiet, a clueless one!)
– comms skills: i can write down a bug i found, make some screenshots to cover the subject)
– some basic ICT skills (ping the server, if it dopes not respond, do X, Y and Z – send off a mail when you are done)
– somewhat level headed and sane… not always though.

Modern Forums, Games are quite complex, and as such there is a s~~~ton to learn and build a skillset.
But if there ever is a call for forum monitoring… i would read that call a few times and probably volunteer.

Don’t care if you are a long time member or a new member if you are an honorable man with no ill will toward those on this website your voice will not be silenced or censored. What other website do you know where that does not take place? The answer is none. This is what makes this website so great we are able to discuss these matters without the need to act like children.

There will always be a few people who for whatever reason over time become disillusioned and turn on other members for some sort of agenda they may have in their heads. Regardless it doesn’t matter because truth always wins out and those who try to tear down the walls you build only make them stronger.

Those who are the loudest are the ones who are trying to hide something or are guilty of something that they don’t want exposed. These guys that left know they screwed up they understand they made a mistake but will never admit to it so they scream the loudest blaming KM for something that was out of his control.

Remember there was thousands of men locked out including myself who were not able to access this website and as men we understood things can break down and had the patience to wait for the problem to be resolved because we were calm mature adults about it.

These people who we find still complaining are the loud minority they have an agenda to tear down this great website don’t believe in what they spew it is all lies. At the end of the day we the silent majority who support KM and everything he has done for us in building a home. KM has given us a place where we can be ourselves and help each other out in our time of need.

Some of these members have been here for years with high post counts and would be considered “trusted”. These are the same people that on other websites would have been made moderators because of their dedication to constantly posting on here. Can you imagine what these people who left would have done had these guys had any sort of power to screw over this website? I can understand why KM is reluctant to give anyone moderator status here that is something he will have to decide but based on the reaction of these long time members they almost feel like they are entitled to having some sort of power on this website. They couldn’t get it here so they moved on to another site and the same thing will eventually happen there too.

Do what you think is best KM and thank you for everything you have done for us it is really appreciated and although I don’t speak for everyone you have my support.

To me, this is a site for a man, particularly a man who has been bruised and battered by women, courts, and society, to seek refuge and understanding.

This is a site for compassion, advice, warnings, humor, news, and above all, wisdom from other men who have endured the drama/trauma…wisdom shared to perhaps prevent another man from having to experience it as severely for themselves firsthand.

If you listen to the old man when he tells you the stove is hot, you don’t have to burn yourself to find that out.

This should not be a place where a man gets ridiculed, berated, insulted, scolded, nagged, or bullied…that’s what women are for. This site should be an ESCAPE from all that, not more of it.
