I’m ISTJ-T but the Introvert/Extrovert spilt is reeeeal close. In fact I took the test twice and got ESTJ-T the first time but thought I wasn’t 100% honest

I think I was INTJ at one time.  I think over time I went ENTP

It’s quite likely that you’re an ambivert! Also, don’t worry about J vs P, the differences are so subtle when you take into account the first 3 letters (INT) that they’re practically the same. You’re an INTJ at heart. Embrace it.

    @ Triklops: alright !

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

INTJ here, Ive been studying up a lot on the Myers Briggs stuff lately. Its pretty crazy because if you study it in depth you will find out that different personalities literally perceive reality differently. The N types tend to think way more deeply into subjects while the S types tend to be very in the moment all the time. INTJ’s work mainly off of Ni wich basically means we pick up on patterns and try to predict future outcomes with them. Thats why you will see a lot of us here. We are more focused on what could happen in the future rather than just whats going on in the present moment. Hence why we put together tons of facts and statistics and come to conclusions that relationships are bulls~~~ that will only end badly. My type is also the least emotional of all the types so its easier for me to function almost entirely off of logic without being influenced by emotions. The the F types work in the exact opposite way, they use emotions to make decisions…that would be my personal nightmare lol.

Also INTJ.  I register very high on the INT and moderate on the J

If you are well read on the Myers Briggs stuff you’ll get that I had a grindingly frustrating relationship with my parents growing up, they are both INFJ’s.

My criticism of the test is that it shouldn’t (and others like it) be called a personality test.  Personalities are so much more intricate, complex, nuanced etc

It speaks nothing of moral character, virtue, ethics etc… the things that matter

It should rather be called Myers Briggs Core Traits Measure or something like that.

@snakeyxt lol Yeah I can imagine that was pretty crazy, especially if both of them were infj’s. They tend to live in a completely different world than the rest of us! Some of them can end up being highly intelligent though. Like most people I was raised by SJ’s, It wasnt all that bad I guess because I mainly kept to myself but I definitely lived under a lot of rules and regulations and when my teen years came the infamous INTJ rebellion against authority kicked in and made things really difficult. These days we get along pretty well though, it made it a lot easier once I understood typology and why they are the way they are. I also agree that those tests dont account for environment so they cant peg down your actually personality, its just they way your brain functions and they way you process reality.

Triklops you slick motherf~~~er. Welcome back, man. Brought a smile to my face just now.

PS. My personality type broke the test. It came up “awesome”.
Do I really need to take it over again? Or will you guys just take my word for it.

(butt seriously I think I’m INTJ if memory serves. I took an assessment a while ago and remember John F. Kennedy was the same.)

Actually, it’s just called MBTI (Myers Briggs type indicator). People have stopped calling it a personality test for a long time.

My prediction came true after all, most of us has either Is or Ns in our type indicator. I’m just really really surprised at the number of INTJs, they are the second rarest type (3% of male population, 2.1% overall, INFJ is the rarest e.g. Gandhi) and they seem to be abundant here. What are the odds that the rarest of men are the most common on MGTOW forums. Out of 25 posters, a whopping 10 of us are INTJs:

What does this say about us?

@lordvats There are more INTJ’s here than you think! I started a topic on this a few weeks ago and check out the results from that post!

    @coolsideofthepillow

I think there is something inherently attractive about MGTOW to INTJs. I immediately joined after reading an article on 19th this month. Before that, I hadn’t even heard of the MGTOW community.

    INTJ

In this small sample it seems INT is most common. Either way, people can change..it just ain’t easy.
