I recently took a personality test and the results were very interesting. Carl Jungs studies found that there are 16 different personality types in the world, with the main difference being introverted and extroverted personality types. My test results showed that I am a INTJ ,it is one of the most rare types with only 2% of the population of the planet in this category, and most of them are men. I also found it interesting that 2 of the MGTOW idols Nikola Tesla and Arthur Schopenhauer also were this type. INTJ is a introverted type of personality that values solitude and cold hard facts over being extremely social and relying on emotions to be your guide. I also noticed while watching some youtube videos on the subject that Vention a popular MGTOW youtuber also said in a comment section that he tested INTJ. It makes tons of sense to me why you would find such a rare type of personality in so many MGTOW because we are able to put aside emotions and live based on cold hard facts and that is the main function of this type of personality ( I can almost guarantee you stardusk is a INTJ) lol.

It started to make me wonder just how many of us have this personality and if a lot of us have it then would it make it very hard for other personality types to develop a MGTOW state of mind. Especially extroverted personalities that heavily rely on personal relationships and emotions. If you are interested in taking a 70 question test that takes about 15 minutes to find out what you are here is the link.  http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp    That seems to be the most accurate test that I could find and was very accurate describing me ( it was almost scary how accurate it was) .

I wasn’t surprised when, after taking such a test, I learned I was INTJ myself.

Then again, I’m an engineer with degrees in two disciplines, including a Ph. D.  In order to get that sort of education, one needs to be focused on what one is doing.  That often means being off by oneself in order to understand what’s going on and to do so in an objective and impartial manner.  Analyzing research data or writing computer code often requires logic, reason, and a great deal of mental concentration.

When I wrote my Mensa exams, the one which tested mainly for logical reasoning had the higher score than the one more focused on relationships.  Similarly, when I last wrote the Graduate Record Exam, I scored quite high on the math component and not so much in the verbal category.

Hello

I am very introverted as well, however I am NOT the one for math’s and physics, I was let go from a glass research company, I only worked with them for 90 days, I was hired on for having an electronics background, Comptia Certs, in high school, and command and control electrician in the military, anyhow I had to get an engineering associates with this company…I told them NO, I would have set myself up for failure as it was 63 credits in math and physics, with my high school records it probably would have taken me 3 1/2 years to get it, and they were NOT going to let me stay at assembly level, which we worked on measuring/load/sampling equipment (mechatronics). one of the senior electrical engineer guys that used to work for sony was cool as hell, but the BOSS, tough dude! Alot tell me that being an introvert is a good thing, but it does not favor me at all! the problem is, I love alone time but it does NOT mix with having a Maladaptive imagination, I go way beyond daydreaming and it’s not a good mix of having both, I have to keep myself very busy, which is why I like Nursing School, BUT I already don’t like being a Nurse, I take my NCLEX next year so, I actually just want to stay in school, LOL

– I’m a dumbass introvert, in-fact a good friend of mine from high school who was just as bad as being a recluse, is a mechanical engineer, but his hobby was math and physics, HE does NOT play computer/video games +1 for him.

Yeah I took the Myers-Briggs personality type test a while ago, and guess what… INTJ. What a coincidence.

I'm paying her 25% of my salary over the next eight years. I had to pay my lawyer, her lawyer, 50% of all my retirement funds and give her another few thousand dollars to make her go away. It cost me $20 to get married and will cost me over $220,000 to get divorced.

Lol I think we might be onto something here guys….its kind of odd that the rarest personality in the world would be found in abundance here. After studying the different personality types for a couple days I have come to the conclusion that most people will be simps and manginas simply because of the way their brains process reality and no amount of facts and solid proof will change that.It was surprising to me when I found out the different personalities process things with the same amount of black and white difference that men and women process things. I had a feeling that a lot of you guys would be INTJ because its extremely easy for us to accept the facts and to actually put in the hours of study time it takes to fully comprehend the male and female relationship.

I was tested in 2001 and got a “sorry, you’re INTP”, from the psychologist. Took it again in 2013(disclaimer: on the internet) and was INTP again.

It goes something like this for me

Introvert: 100%

Intuitive: 100%

Thinking: 100%

Perception 85%

I was never one to follow rules, I can go(and prefer) long periods of time alone, I question EVERYTHING and generally do whatever I want, even if it leads me nowhere.

I am the ultimate observer and pattern recognizer. I think, I theorize, I destroy and start over again, never actually getting anything accomplished.

It’s a tough life.

I’m an INTP too, but I’m fairly well balanced on the introvert/extrovert scale. I can switch on the extroversion but it isn’t my natural state.

I also have always had issues with seeing things through to their completion, but simple non-religious meditation helps. I’m told that we make great leaders of teams of creative people, and that we’re the “Jedi Knight” personality type. Albert Einstein, Rene Descartes, James Madison, Charles Darwin, David Cronenburg are all INTP.

Hey Vector, have you ever had anyone tell you that you’re gonna die alone and lonely?

My ex-wife told me that constantly. I always replied with, “do you promise?”

I can’t say I’m surprised to see so many INTJs here. Buncha evil, manipulative bastards plotting world domination, the lot of ya! Ha!

I was tested as one of those, they told me I was 1% of the population.

I think I am in DoorMan’s shoes:

DoorMan,

I was never one to follow rules, I can go(and prefer) long periods of time alone, I question EVERYTHING and generally do whatever I want, even if it leads me nowhere.

I am the ultimate observer and pattern recognizer. I think, I theorize, I destroy and start over again, never actually getting anything accomplished.

It’s a tough life.”

Pattern recognizer, I remember as a young man thinking, “If only I could find a job where I can sense a materials pattern (surface pattern) by feeling it”

Yeah, it IS tough; living the dream, still asleep.

INTJ

I ended up taking a bunch of these tests while preparing for civilian life, then again a few years after retiring from service. I find them to be somewhat accurate, however IMHO the results will always be skewed due to the questions being asked from a thinker view vice an actual doer view.

There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it

I found this personality test to be one of the more accurate ones I’ve ever taken. I took it a few weeks ago before stumbling onto the whole MGTOW movement. When I learned that I was INTJ for the first time, it was depressing. Being that only about 2% of the population is INTJ, I figured finding people with similar mindsets would be next to impossible. Well waddya know, a few weeks later and here I am on the MGTOW forums surrounded by a bunch of like minded buddies. Amazing!

Love this place…

I don’t put a ton of stock into MBTI and personality testing, myself…BUT, the label I’ve been given here is pretty spot on. I was (almost)moved to tears at the realization that I was not alone in this insane world.

I’ve noticed INTP/Js pretty much OWN the internet, too

And for the record, my 3 closest friends are xNTJs. We get along famously, as long as they can tolerate my meandering theories(lots of weed helps) and we can come up with some real diabolical plans.

Thanks for those vids, Coolside!

Did the test years ago and redid it just now, still INTJ.

The people I get along with best are INTJ too, and so i’m not surprised that the majority of MGTOW’s are either.

Good to be in the company of like minded people brothers.

Damn, I’m the ENTP freak here. NTs are the rationals and MGTOW is very rational so that does not surprise me at all.

Myers-Brigg is not for predictions, but I do see a lot of myself in my profile so it is valuable information to have. MGTOW is very compatible for an ENTP though as we’re known to be mavericks.

Whatdaknow! here’s my score: No wonder I found it normal here, we’re the 2%ers. Interesting isn’t it! Great post coolside!

INTJ
introvert(89%)  intuitive(25%)  thinking(62%) judging(11%)
• You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (89%)
• You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (25%)
• You have distinct preference of Thinking over Feeling (62%)
• You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (11%)

Yes, alongside those other 1-2% – er’s.

But we must overthrow them goons and be the new 1% (or 2%)
