    It’s no surprise to me that the test says I am an INTJ-T.  I have taken this type of test once or twice in the past, and always come back as INTJ, and always extremely high on the introversion end of the scale: this time, 64% introverted.

    I suggest those of us who are INTJ have a close read of this: http://www.16personalities.com/intj-personality

    It really is creepy how they have captured the personality type.  I have to say, they’ve got me down to a ‘T’:

    – difficulty showing emotions/shows emotions inappropriately;

    – inappropriate humour;

    – high intellectual confidence but lack of social confidence;

    – emphasis on competence and logical thinking combined with relational insensitivity;

    – no success in romantic relationships.

    etc., etc.  It’s all there.  They’ve even got my career right – I used to practice as a lawyer.

    I don’t normally go in for this sort of stuff, but this is impressive.

    @Tower @keymaster @coolsideofthepillow @snakeyxt @sam Fisher @smad @fitzbones @navarro @richardhutnik @Lord Vats What does this say about us?

    It says we don’t take any s~~~! We’d just as well toss the baby with the bathwater and be done with it!

    Don’t let any of us in a nuclear launch command center, we’ll launch, in a heartbeat! Not the kind of guys you can just p~~~ on and walk away, like it’s OK; Oh no, we’re the kind of guys that will fill your house with horse manure FOREVER!

    I’ll bet badgers, wolverines and fisher cats are INTJ…….

    INTP.
    Strong I trait, the rest are weak
    I don’t like the methodology – it’s somewhat vague and misleading. Many times questions don’t specify the difference between how do you feel like behaving and how do you normally behave. I am well rounded person, so I might feel one thing, but behave differently. I also noticed the word “should” come up in many questions. Again it isn’t clear if they want to know if you are aware what’s expected of you and you behave accordingly, or if they want to see your true nature – in that case some questions should be worded differently. I behaved a lot differently back in the day than I do today. Nothing changed as far as my personality traits, but a lot changed as far as me acting like a grown up. But the test results would have shows different outcomes.
    Myers-Briggs is one of the better test out there, but I still feel all these psychological tests are pretty much worthless – trying to cut your corners off and put you in a box.

    “You try to respond to your e-mails as soon as possible and cannot stand a messy inbox.”

    Work email? Personal email?
    What if I don’t really use email? Or I use it to get important notices, but never really respond to any of them??
    Yeah, I don’t like messy inbox, but I never clean it. Why? Because that’s impractical and stupid.
    Of course I treat work emails differently, but where I work now – I don’t use it ever.
    Bulls~~~ questions like this are supposedly have to gauge your personality?

    NTs are all members of “The Rationals” group which most of us belong. My group, the ENTPs, are known for out of the box thinking, maverick tendencies, and excellence at debate. I’ve had many a wench tell me it was impossible to win an argument with me. Of course, I paid the price in spades.

    This clustering is probably why MGTOWs catch so much flack. We base things on reality unlike the sheeple.

    @russky: Search makes a messy inbox a non-issue which is an ENTP dream function.

    @RussyKGB
    That’s one of the main drawbacks of the MBTI, that’s why it is administered by a certified person which notes such thing as ideal thinking, biases and gives the final result. Talking it free online will not give as accurate a result.

    Ok, not sure if did this right, and it was on this free website (http://www.16personalities.com/intp-personality), so its probably inaccurate, but will have to do for now.

    INTJ- The Mastermind…. I am very weird and quiet most of the time. But when I understand a thing, I understand it completely before I speak about it. Even then it is only with those I consider my intellectual peers. Extroverts are nice, and generally cheerful, but tiring.  I enjoy hanging out here because subject matter is discussed usually in a non emotional fashion. No one relies on speculation or pure opinion, but usually with solid reasoning and research. I have spent a lot of time alone investigating the questions I have had about the world around me. Every time I think I can stop a new question comes up and I have to know the answer. I know enough now to know I don’t want to know anymore. I realize I am powerless to change the world, I can only change myself, so be it.

    Life is too long to play by someone elses rules....

    Well Smitty, your powerlessness may only be temporarily subjective to you personally, but I guess if you’re content with changing (as in improving) yourself, there’s nothing wrong with that, if it feels right to you. And over time it could even lift your perception (back) towards power to be indeed able to change the world, so to improve yourself in any kind of way you see fit for yourself is a good base to start from I think.

    I am one of your ENTP brothers. No,I cannot keep my mouth shut either. F~~~ ’em if they don’t like it.

    @ Chauvinist Pig: Alright bro’..! That explains why we enjoyed arguing amongst each other ever since, such fun..! By the way did you read the section “fictional ENTP characters”..?  I mean, stating the likes of the joker from the batman movies or Tyler Durden from Fight Club. Gee, what an honor to be in that type of category, yeah I’m down with that, suits me.

    Again, whenever taking part in an argument to me there’s virtually no real thrill in “winning” or something but more like the mere contribution much in the olympic spirit type of sense  —> just take part…  … and contribute on the off chance for which this place is just perfect…

    @keymaster @albert  Missed you guys too..its good to be back 🙂

    To be quite honest, does it really matter what personality we have as long as we realise the simple truth, that life of a man isn’t as simple as we were told it was. Our very existence is under attack by people who use us and then dispose of us as broken disposable tools. We are the lords of this world living amongst parasites who are consuming us from within and the ones who are yet to realise this are living lives of blissful ignorance serving and fighting for those parasites who will one day surely and certainly consume them too.

    So just as I said in an old post, sometime back here where we were discussing the similarities and differences between the MGTOWs. We all are different and unique but what still unites us, besides what we have between our legs (for which we are invariably discriminated against) is this Bitch Detector prototype that’s surgically grafted in our brains, works every time with pin point precision, saving our lives.

    You mean (in short): We are one .. !

    True in a sense though in this case it sure enough is also interesting to see some differences within our mixed group of characters, which makes it much more colorful rather than being viewed as one big “grey mash” by occasional trollups for instance…

    Yes of course. Just like I said. We are all unique. Its just, in the big picture it does not matter what kind of personality you have or that having a different personality type makes you any less of a MGTOW than the rest.

    Ned, I’m the same way too. I don’t really take things personally either. I do have to stay away from rednecks though as some of those guys are some hot tempered brawlers. I once almost got into a literal fist fight with two rednecks by simply voicing my opinion that I prefer flounder over catfish. Yet, I’ll eat catfish too.

    In reality, MBTI is just a qualitative instrument. It is not predictive of anything. There is no official MGTOW personality type. Once your cup fills over with other people’s bulls~~~(Women…cough,cough), there is no way to go but your own way. I do find it interesting that INTJs are the predominant type here by far though. I will say being an ENTP is fun though we are misunderstood sometimes.

    @Triklops: It’s great to have you back with us. I’ve always admired your troll slaying skills.

    I had to take this twice, because the first time they called me observant, and people I know here would disagree with that, plus the ISTP description didn’t fit me well. I ended up INTP-A, which had something I found amusing in the romance portion: A Good Wife Makes Happiness, A Bad One, Philosophy.

    The philosophy being mgtow.

    EDIT: For past three years I have held this folder on my desktop with thousands of .txt documents which contains and gets filled with documents with periodic observations, epiphanies and subjects that need to be dissected about my personality and, once in a while I try to ‘compile’ them into one mind map. Occasionally I end up destroying entire map because of one of the elements doesn’t fit anywhere, compromises the entire branch thus spoiling whole picture. I was surprised how close this test results got to what I already have compiled and know about myself and how the points that I didn’t have analyzed through made sense. I am actually considering obtaining premium profile.
