Star Wars: The Force Awakens: The Pre-Sexual Fantasies of a Broken Boy

That review said everything to me I was expecting to hear. Am I just seeking reinforcement for my own assumptions here or is it really this bad?

That review said everything to me I was expecting to hear. Am I just seeking reinforcement for my own assumptions here or is it really this bad?

It’s not really THAT bad. ( another thread on this here )….. and the observation that Luke’s character development , maturity, and skillset spanned 3 films over 6 years was already talked about here.

Just pretend sitting in the theatre and you see the opening title roll with John Williams music ……. , and then 15 seconds in, you read the words “General Leia” in the synopsis. I about choked on my popcorn right there. They didn’t even save it for a surprise…. like they did when Han Solo became a general. They just club you over the head with it. “GENERAL LEIA”. I knew right there what we were about to see. A girl power show.

Then she (Rey) comes equipped with perfectly honed Ninja skills, like Neo in the Matrix AFTER the training. Skills to Pilot the Falcon. Complete knowledge of its inner workings to the point where she scolds Han Solo for not knowing any better (several times), and slays the bad guy in a lightsabre dual like she’s Rambolina — the ultimate farce to be reckoned with.

You feel nothing because she DID nothing to arrive there.
She could just do all that stuff…… because vagina.

The underlying message of the movie is that men – and White men in particular – are useless, destructive, failures, who need to get out of the way so that society can finally progress.
“Need to get out of the way” ? No, no… #KillAllWhiteMen, remember?
Oh I’m getting out of the way alright, ghosting like there’s no tomorrow – because there really isn’t – and taking a step back to witness just how far they’ll push their nightmare agenda and that trainreck of a society over the cliff.
I’m only half white so maybe they’ll only kill me a little bit then turn me over to the Mixed-Race slave owner. In that case I think they’d better kill me or they’re gonna have serious problems in their hellish utopia.

No weakness for Rey to overcome. Made her character boring. Mind you Kylo Ren had been shot with chewie’s gun and stabbed by Finn.

Rey is probably Luke’s daughter. In her flashback, the guy she sells parts to told her to be quiet. Then you can hear Obi Wan call her name.

I think Finn is not who we think he is. Maybe a descendant of Mace Windu or something. I think he might even be Sith, trying to recruit Rey.

I bathe in the tears of single moms.

I’ve been talking with my friend and trying to convince myself that the movie wasn’t really all that bad. I’ve almost succeeded, but I still get angry every time I remember ninja Rey…

On the other hand, there is still the possibility of Mace Windu coming back (after all, the expanded universe is gone, so he might have survived after all?)

I vote that we all send J.J. Abrams a flood of letters asking him to resurrect Mace Windu.
I would watch a movie with Windu and Skywalker together in it, even if it was feminist crap, so long as they don’t get their butts kicked.

Just a misogynist virgin hiding away in his mother's basement. Nothing to see here...

    1. Rey is probably Luke’s daughter. In her flashback, the guy she sells parts to told her to be quiet. Then you can hear Obi Wan call her name.

    2. I think Finn is not who we think he is. Maybe a descendant of Mace Windu or something. I think he might even be Sith, trying to recruit Rey.

1, Something does not add up with Rey. And I am not talking about BS PC. The SW writers are going towards something, and I think the “instant expert” was intentional for more than just “girl power”.

Since this is only the first act of three, I guess we will have to wait for the second act, where more of the twists come for various Star Wars series.

    2. Either idea would be cool. Hell, make Finn a sleeper agent. That would be even better. Being a sleeper agent would prevent a force user from knowing that Finn is dangerous, until his programming is triggered.

Pvt, I would love it if it turned out that Snoke was just another puppet and the real mastermind was Mace Windu. Given how he died in the prequel trilogy, and how long Jedi can live. It could be done. And Mace would diffidently have a bone to pick with the Skywalker family.

I remember talking to somebody about j.j. Abrams and star wars.

J.j. Abrams f~~~ed up a lot of s~~~, what makes you think he wont f~~~ this up?

Star wars fans and their f~~~ing comebacks:

Will a women can be a Jedi or a sith lord, shaking my head, you just don’t f~~~ing get it do you? Star wars fans probably the biggest manginas out there. They just sold their soul to the feminists c~~~s, without realizing it. Probably like watching a movie on lifetime channel.

Side note: j.j. Abrams is producing the other two.

    Shit Tested, Cunt Approved.

Someone please tell me there are lots of spaceships blown up? Is it at least worth the 1.50 at the Dollar Store or is it just a big show of light saber, force nonsense and blah blah…?

I wouldn’t hold my breath. Abrams was the guy who who created Lost; remember that ending?

I think the fact remains that Hollywood writers and producers have gotten complacent and want a bigger payout for less and less work. They like the PC-wagon thing because it is easy for them: Why work on character development, plot, theme, symbolism, etc. when you can just make a female protagonist (or protagonists) and give them a non-white boyfriend and supporting cast? It’s the same reason Disney has an established formula for princesses and the ONE time they finally deviated from it, everyone acts like their film is now so revolutionary. People are sheep.

The movie was overhyped and somewhat stupid knowing what one knows concerning Jedi/Sith and the training that goes into being one to actually be good at what they do. The main character c~~~ was portrayed as overpowered which was utterly ridiculous. Kylo was a huge disappointment and the fight scenes blew. Entertaining movie but also flawed and easily noticeable too so somewhat disappointing.

I hesitate to give it more than 3/5 stars.. Maybe like 6.5/10 stars.

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity. --Einstein

Truth be told indeed. Well, with regards to the new Star Wars episode just by chance I just stumbled upon another great mgtow review which is brought to you by Red Pill Philosophy and here it is (now have fun watching that…):

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

Saw it on a hacked stream.

Star Whores, The Pussy Strikes Back.

    Yawn

Finn had some possibilities but degenerated rapidly into a worthless bumblef~~~ who’s only along for comic relief as a Star Wars Homer Simpson.

Just another franchise that has been ruined by the c~~~ cavalry.

I knew is was going to be full of PC bulls~~~ before I got in. I liked the movie alot overall, I just rooted for the bad guy because I already knew everything was going to be inverted (Good=Bad/vice versa) for the sake of political correctness.

However, joking aside, I thought there was a heavy subliminal PC metaphor with the death of Han Solo. It was akin to saying “F~~~ you traditional men, we will cast you into oblivion.” I think there are a lot of subliminal metaphors in the movie, and the portrayed female dominance is too obvious.

I waited almost a month after it hit the screen, to go see it……..

I actually raged out of the theater almost yelling “they killed f~~~in’ Han!!! I couldn’t even stay for the closing credits and musical score (or lack of?). I said it like almost 10 times.

My daughter at one point (who has adopted Rey & Finn as her children…w/e that means) says to me, “There might be kids here that hear me in the theater” —- I shot back, “They saw it happen! I am only saying it”!

If I were not a mgtow, I would blame myself for failing as a father, but the brainwashing enmasse from all corners of our galaxy is strong with the force.

I have been a fan of the Original Trilogy for about 30ish yrs now. I could write a library on how much it impacted me as a kid.

Yeah!!! He was my f~~~ing childhood hero as well!! I thought the way BobaFett was killed off was lame….Oh bloody hell, Han’s death puts that to shame in spades.

In the words of Taylor, in the original Planet of The Apes…”Damn them! Damn them all to hell”!

    /rant off………..just damnit
