    I’ve gone 24 hours without smoking. I’m eating garlic stuffed olives instead. Strangely calming the craving.

    I want to shove Ms. Piggy in a woodchipper. No quote. That's all.

    I started smoking at age 17 and quit when I was 49; two packs a day. I just stopped buying them – cold turkey. I won’t lie, it was tough. Physical addiction takes about a month to six weeks to break, psychological about 6 months. During that period any emotional stress can put you back to smoking – but fight it. You’ll gain weight but that’s better than smoking. Doc said quitting smoking was like loosing 100 lbs of fat. Now I can’t stand the stench of them and can’t believe anyone would start to smoke.

    Quit – you’ll be glad you did.

    Once you quit, Stay quit.

    Myself, I am one weak SOB when it comes to smoking. I quit several times in my life so far, the longest was 2 years. Then I got remarried and tadaaa, a smoker again. My own fault, familiar stress relief, and it was so damn easy.
    I have very few vices is life, smoking is one of them.
    Ironically I know this s~~~ is going to kill me sooner than later.

    If you don’t smoke, don’t start.
    If you can quit, stay quit

    There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it

    I quit after 30 years listening to all this breaks my brain it’s just not that hard, it reminds me of the “they live” fight scene that goes on forever about the glasses if the guy just puts on the glasses all will be revealed. So I say with all due compassion and respect “just read the f~~~ing book man”

    Quit a couple of times, always fell back into the bad habit. I´m vaping now for 6 weeks after 30 yrs of smoking, don´t feel the least need for a cigarette anymore. I don´t say vaping is healthy, but my stamina got a lot better since then, also my smelling sense improved a lot too. Hardly can stand the smell of cigarettes anymore. It may be an option for people that are having hard times with stopping completely.

    Next is mixing my own liquids, will start this weekend.

    Congratulations @jeremiah, you`re gonna make it!

    @black Butte Nice Bike!

    I stopped smoking cigarettes in 2011 using a vape. as my friend says maybe not the healthiest but a hell of a lot better than smoking cigarettes. Best of luck

    I can see their heads have been twisted and fed with worthless foam from the mouth. Bob d
