Holy s~~~, i read some of the other threads that referred to this and went looking for this one and it is every bit as bad as i could have imagined.
I am wholly against pedophilia and i have to be careful with what i say regarding this lest i not put it correctly and become the next target

Pedophilia is a mental illness which follows that pedophiles are people with a mental illness and people with mental illnesses need help or to be put away from the rest of us (this clarifies my view on it)
While i cannot sympathize with what Applejack said, i can only hope to think he was looking at it from more of an outside in perspective

I assume his thought process went something like:

If you think about murdering someone sometimes you can’t help that
But if you actually murder someone then you are a bad f~~~ing person

I have an online friend who has a ridiculously strong sex drive and he is attracted to both over and under age girls, now by the definition he is not a pedophile because he isn’t primarily attracted to young girls.
But the point i’m trying to make is that i’m not going to stop being his friend simply because he sometimes has these desires, for the sole reason that he is ashamed about it and does not try to think about or exercise them in any way whatsoever (I might like to add that the friend is very young himself so this is not as bad as someone who is 40+ for example)
