The medical argument is spurious. It was actually created by the Communists during the 1950’s.

The active ingedients in cannabis were isolated long ago. Those that are useful can be prescribed.

Thats right!!! Vice Laws are the foundation of the “Big Nanny” state. It was women that pushed for prohibition back in the 20’s. The Vice Laws just get more and more out of control. Then they start banning junk food and smoking etc.

Legalize it, regulate it like alcohol. Give it to the tobacco companies to distribute. I know the argument is, people can grow it themselves, but there are ways around that. People can make their own alcohol too but alcohol companies rake in billions every year. The amount of people who will take the time to grow their own weed, is and will always be a small number. Don’t forget, we’re Americans, and we put a whole new meaning behind the word “Lazy”. Most people will buy the weed in the store if it’s available.

The tobacco companies can produce a stronger strain of weed, something stronger than what people can produce on their own, and they will dominate the market share. If putting people in jail is the hang-up, there are still ways to do that. Alcohol is legal, but driving drunk is not. If weed is legal, make driving high illegal. Just gotta get creative with how the laws are written, and the courts can still make a s~~~ load of money in court fees. So problem solved.

@blade I have been on way too many OD calls, they dont care about anything or anyone. One I had was a father ODing while taking his child to daycare. He was driving a fullsize conversion van. F~~~er dropped the kid off and went out nearly ramming into the daycare with said van. Who knows how many childeren he would have killed? Lucky for them he wasnt on the gas and the terrain stopped him. Luckily no kids got hurt, but I made sure to poke his brain with a MADD, damn near ripped his nostrils open. F~~~ those entitled s~~~ bags. Let em all f~~~ing die.

Edit: I just remembered, actualy had some die from an OD involving laced weed. But weed itself wont cause someone to overdose. My point is it is harmless, and natural.

I was in a state where it is legal in July.

And yeah it should be legal:

Ability for a consumer to choose a product in a safe environment with the state benefitting from the taxes is a win-win for everyone.

And I managed to safely get over an ounce out of that state without having to drive out with it (due to my out of state plates on the freeway risking causing cops in other states thinking I was rolling out of the weed state with OG Kush)

So: I sealed and packed over an ounce in a box and sent it back home via UPS.

And as an added insurance policy, I mailed it to a buddy’s address that is a deputy in the county where I live. Without telling him.

Then as I watched the tracking online as I was road tripping home and realized it was arriving to his house the next day. I rolled in to his place that night with a case of beer and Jager and we hung out.

He was rolling out in the morning to protect & serve and I acted hungover so he said I could crash on his couch.

Then at about 1:15pm there was a knock on the door. I answered, signed for the package and got my goodies.

Now. Back to my insurance policy. If I had not coordinated to be there, and he got it, I was still going to be safe. Because I have so much dirt on him that he would have scrambled to hide it for me or even bring it over to my place. And the last thing he would ever want is me getting busted and questioned for 10 hours under duress and coercion.

Right, and I’m agreeing with you. Heroin is illegal but these pills are not. Pills given out by doctors. Yet we never hear anyone saying they should ban these pills. Doctors don’t get SWAT team raids over this issue.

Complete double standard, I absolutly agree. Doctors get kick backs from perscibing Rx x or y. The health care industry is just that. A money oriented industry claiming morality and ethics at face value while reaching deep into the anal cavity and pocket book of patients. All the placebo companies would lose lots of money with the legalization of weed.

I hope people take their health care back into their own hands learning medicine and other ways to take care of ailments themselves.

I used to literally run from the law as a kid in my state because of it, now I can smoke it while walking down the street without a problem. The fact that it was ever criminalized is proof enough that the Government is completely full of s~~~ on so many levels.

I am kinda with Carnage on this, all drugs should be de-criminalized, maybe not legal, but no need to lock anyone up for any of it. Back in the day none of it was illegal. Big Brother owns all of us due to FIAT money, laws, and big Pharma. It’s all nonsense mostly designed to let the few get rich while the many scramble to make a living while trying to stay out of jail.

Portugal legalized all drugs. The world didn’t come to an end. My body my choice. No man and no woman has control over my body and what I do to it. I don’t even do any drugs. I have never and will never understand the need for a man or a woman to run around controlling others. I don’t want to control others and I don’t want others controlling me.
