Elementary does indeed have a female Watson, played by Lucy Liu.  I watched 2 or 3 episodes of the show before I gave up on it, partly because of LL’s portrayal.  When I saw her in those dreadful Charlie’s Angels movies from about 15 years ago, she lost all credibility as an actress as far as I was concerned.

 

As for Wonder Woman portrayed on the screen, there can be only one:  Lynda Carter!

OH, SON OF A–

Going back to “Elementary” (a show I haven’t seen), and how I found out they changed Watson to be female and it annoyed me…

They did it to one of my favorite literature villains as well?  They made James Moriarty into Jamie Moriarty?

It was bad enough they did it to the Master, but they also did this to freaking MORIARTY?  I don’t even have words for my level of raging right now…
