I have Pirelli’s on my pickup and I love them. But the marketing campaign just ruined it for me.

But note, Pirelli is not Italian owned anymore. I believe they were taken over by a Chinese or Korean mob a few months ago.

Great tyres though, I have Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Seasons and they stick like s~~~ to a blanket in the wet.

Really I didn’t find that, but my tires were extremely low profile so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. Pirelli are damn expensive to replace. I think it was $450 – 600 for the runflats A single one.

Im gonna upset you @keymaster. I run 265/65 R17’s on my pickup and I paid $270 (AUD) per tyre fitted and balanced.

I initially had Kuhmo ATR’s and they were bloody awful and so slippery in the wet. Nothing but good reviews with the Pirelli’s for me.

I remember it from the 1980s. I had no idea they still made the calendar. I used to really like Pirellis, back when I was driving sportier cars.

If the Chinese have bought it, I would assume the quality is about to plummet. I’m constantly amazed that Volvo still exists, and don’t expect it to continue much longer.
