She won’t know what hit her once I’m done as I’m doing it with stealth. They’re not called crazy cat ladies for nothing. I’m going about this legally as animal control is there for stuff like this. The county banned one long term cat colony location at a public boat ramp, but the women just ignore the sign and feed away.

I’ll have to sign a complaint, but I don’t care what she thinks about it. Her obsession is affecting others. A woman will just do something out of emotions and not consider any ramifications.

Oh well, time to let the chicken out of the kennel.

This may not be a popular opinion on here but I have to say it is not the cats fault that this lady is enabling them. I have the same problem in my area with 10 cats coming onto my property and a female that is now pregnant for the 3rd time! I have called Animal Control to deal with the problem and it is run by ALL females and in the one year I have been complaining they managed to catch only 4 cats. The rest are still roaming around my yard and these female Animal Control employees do nothing. I am at my wits end they are so incompetent I can’t begin to explain my frustration. But one thing I will not do is poison the cats or kill them just because they are around. Yeah it sucks but they don’t deserve to die for being cats it would be like saying poison women because they are a problem and you wouldn’t do that.

If you can get a male Animal Control officer to deal with this mess let them take care of it they will find homes or euthanize these cats humanely if they can’t but at least you will be giving them a chance to live. The longer this does go on though the more they will breed and the problem will become bigger. I wish you luck in finding the person and putting a stop to that mess the woman created.

On a lighter note these are the excuses the female Animal Control Officers gave me so they wouldn’t do their job. I am dealing with 4 different ones including the supervisor who is female as well.

“We can’t live trap them during winter we will bring you food to feed them and when spring arrives we will catch them for you”

Spring arrives I keep calling they keep ignoring my calls until end of May. June rolls around.

“She is on vacation I will send someone else out for you in the next few days to catch them for you”

Two weeks pass no one shows. I call again this time I ask for Supervisor and she promises to send someone over the following Monday of that week. Other female shows up on a Tuesday instead and traps one cat. They only have one live trap for the entire area come on really?

Takes them one and a half months to catch 4 cats because they are always taking the trap away after they catch one and take one or two weeks to come back to set it again. They want me to keep feeding these feral cats so they don’t die. I ask them to bring the food they won’t bring it because there is an emergency or they are out on another call. Eventually someone brings the food meanwhile the cats are starved and hardly have meat on the bones.

No one shows, finally I call Supervisor again and let her have it. She says the reason they can’t take anymore cats in at the moment is because the shelter is full. The cats are sickly, have infections and pregnant and the problem is only getting worse. I don’t know if they are lying or just lazy but they avoid work like the plague. I just need to find out who is the main manager of the Animal Shelter and complain to them at this point to get anything done. Trying to find out is like pulling teeth they guard that information because they know their job is on the line.

But if you were sadistically torturing the cats, the same women would be there in a heartbeat. As well they should, I don’t condone hurting animals. But until then, there’s no hurry.

If anything, try that – the next time you ring them say, “I have a cat here and I’m going to drown it.” When they arrive, simply tell them that you couldn’t get a response from them any other way. Remember David Brent’s approach.

@rhino: You’re right it’s not the cat’s fault. They are being enabled.

I can’t use indiscriminate methods as I might kill some family pet. These cats are sickly. Some of them may not even live in her colony, but that woman probably buys 50lb bags of cat food and just dumps it out for them. The cats are enabled. The coons are enabled too. We have a huge problem with rabid coons here. One of these colony idiots got bitten by a rabies infected feral cat at a colony she was tending a few years ago. She had to get the rabies shots. The cat tested positive for rabies.

Just an idea, animal control will most likely destroy all of the cats if they are taken from the cat lady. I know that raisins and grapes can be poisonous to dogs, might work on cats too. Throw a few handfulls of raisins in your yard. Have to be careful of dogs walking in your yard tho. Just a thought.

It’s also not the cats’ fault they are overcrowded, disease ridden, injured from constant cat fights, and suffering.

The point is this is a bad situation that is only going to get worse for all concerned, cats included, if nothing is done about it. Sometimes culls are necessary, and a head shot from a rifle is probably far less painful than animal control by coyotes. It’s just rifles can get their users in trouble, whereas coyotes have no f~~~s to give.

When kindness is illegal, you have no choice but to use cruelty. Because doing nothing is the cruelest choice of all.

Ask around at your local vet clinics if there are any Catch-Spay-Release organizations in your area. They generally have their s~~~ far more together than animal control.

Raccoons you say? Tell me, have you ever heard of Leptospirosis? Most animals can only carry one, or at most two Leptospira serovars. Go ahead and guess which animal can carry all of them. And they don’t have to bite you to pass it on. Or even be there. All you have to do is touch or even breath the air coming from soil where an infected animal has p~~~ed.

I found a cheap focusable UV LED light on Amazon that’s a thrower. I’m pretty sure my Li battery charger does 14500s. So, I need to order this battery too. A shout out to prior poster(Mad Pirate) on this as Urine stains and many others do fluoresce in UV.

I did a daylight initial recon on the houses using the Mustang. They do have crawl spaces, and it looks like the entry panels are in the rear of houses. Three of the six I can rule out completely as they are not inhabited by 60’ish range women.

That only p~~~es off the whole neighborhood at you as well. As it was she was lucky the coyotes showed up to do their community service, because people were getting close to breaking out the torches and pitchforks. Now normally I have a historically based bias against mob “justice”, but in this case she would have had it coming. Peac~~~s at 4 AM should be considered a crime against humanity.
