    BONUS ROUND:
WHO USE TO BE EMPLOYED TOfetch things?

The literature & media talk about this “Grueling” job with illustrations like these bellow.

Hmm. Something seems to be missing in this one.

My, there seems to have been some change that has gone on. I wonder what was lost in that change?

The term was personal concierge. Most happen to be women in most firms. Notice the age group.

Now, think about a woman that is pushing up against that wall. Suddenly BASIC F~~~ING LIFE is to hard. Gentleman, this is real. Remember the “Emotional labor” argument? Or that gem of an article stating that ordering things from an app on her phone is to much work for this Finance housewife?
    CUE IN:

Women got greedy just like they always have, came in and wanted to take what was never theirs in the first place, and they were ALL REPLACED. Silently and gracefully.

Now that is how you do it.

Meanwhile? That idiot that happened to take the hook of that ageing intern that was such a great Personal Assistant..

    Hmm

And what you just said doesn’t even work in real life. Higher up women do not mentor lower women as replacements. They dont do it. in fact another story posted here not too long ago made a clear case that almost all women do not like working for a woman superior. So this whole idea that there needs to be a woman higher up to ensure other make it up the chain, in real life, that just does not happen.

Nobody wants a female boss…especially a female employee. They KNOW that women are dishonest and unfair (hashtag not all) and cannot handle the continuous pressure of being in charge. Women don’t want to be the boss, but they want to pretend that they do just long enough to get some kind of payout or secure a high-value male (“nice husband”). Women don’t WANT to be in charge–that’s why there is such a dearth of female leaders and executives.

What about these companies that have a goal of 50% of women in management?https://www.peoplemattersglobal.com/news/culture/accentures-diversity-goal-50-of-its-workforce-to-be-women-by-2025-15673

Not sure what you want me to say.
So what if certain companies push for certain percentages of workers with vaginas and t~~~. That doesnt negate what I said that studies show most women do not like working for females, and that the whole concept of the top females mentoring others is by and large, not happening. Top women like being top women and unique, what hive runs better with several queen bees? With other women at their level they could face a rival that sways the men to her and her machinations.
Nothing ever works out the way liberal socialist racist/quota micromanagers thinks its going to. They do not understand human nature, but they think they do and they think they are smarter than everyone else.

So basically you think these quotas are going to be ignored and forgotten over time? I wish I was that optimistic!

Exactly this. You have boards full of idealogues that have engaged in entryism and ridden their way to positions where they get to make decisions on the structure and function of the company. They make decisions without any basis or grounding in the needs or wants of their employees. An extremely vocal sliver of a minority (around 8%) push for more women in leadership positions, completely ignoring the double bind that A) women don’t want to lead and B) everyone (especially women) don’t want to be led by women.

We are seeing some women foisted into positions of “leadership” not because they have the drive and ambition to do it, but because they are being artificially put there. They didn’t WANT the job, but some sadistic douche came along with a money carrot and dangled it in front of that thoroughbred.

Men are starting to wisen up and realize that women have been trying to knock men out of all positions of power. If you read the article, the only problem feminists have with gender segregation is that there are not enough senior women to guarantee the success of each and every ambitious little worker bee to be boss one day.
If the feminists plans succeed there will be no men in management and having a vagina will be the only requirement for managerial positions.
Men will be sent off to work in the mines.

It’s better to be an “asshole” than falsely accused. It’s better to be an “asshole” than saddle your business with some worthless female liability. I’ve made the mistake of hiring women. Never again. So now I’m an “asshole”. But an “asshole” who’s coming to the end of my most profitable year yet. And not a single employee relations problem all year.

So basically you think these quotas are going to be ignored and forgotten over time? I wish I was that optimistic!

It’s not a matter of optimism. It’s a matter of Natural Selection.

It’s a choice for a company to ignore the quotas or go out of business as it’s out-competed by companies that ignore the quotas.

Another article on the liberal media today on the same subject. It must be getting pretty bad if the liberal media is reporting on it and not brushing it off like its just a few wingnut incels.

Considering cupcakes so rarely have to deal with the consequences of their actions, they can’t comprehend that actions have reactions.

The comments on that article are gold. All well thought out posted by men that are just not going to voluntarily throw away the careers they have built their whole lives and what probably feeds their entire family.

Feminism has jumped the shark, again.

Yup, and its impressive how few thumbs downs and how few comments are disagreeing with the majority on this. Enough men are realizing #MeToo and men getting destroyed by nothing more than accusations is bulls~~~ and acting appropriately to the extent that women are noticing it. It will be interesting to see what happens when a majority of women are facing negative consequences from #MeToo…will the hive cannibalize the vocal minority?

As a woman that has worked with men, and been abused by my father. It’s never easy to tell your story. But I agree with men taking care of themselves. When you can be accused without proof of the crime why put yourself in that situation. If you think men can’t control their actions by protecting themselves then it is you that has the problem. The old adage of innocent until proven guilty isn’t the norm any more… Once the Media has the story and you have been accused your life and career are pretty much over. If you are proven innocent, you will always be looked at as a guilty. Women need to use their voices at the time when they feel that the actions of others are inappropriate, instead of waiting 20+ years to report it.

You know METOO overstepped their bounds when older women are worried about their sons too. Even the Women in my family were worried after the Kavanaugh hearings. They don’t want their “Husbanks” getting falsely accused!!!

I guess their are quite a lot of guy who just still don’t get it! Behaving properly and acting appropriately is no protection… 🙁

I am proof of it. I have always behaved properly and never acted anything but professional in a workplace, all of my life. Yet I have had to deal with three false accusations, two of which cost my careers at the time and forced me to start life all over again.

S~~~ happens. Usually a woman is to blame for it.

That is what life is like in the Patriarch Utopia.

"Women have become so full of hatred that they are blind to reason and humanity. That which they practice will be the end of humanity, long before any war that men may fight.." "Women are predators by nature. Why else do you think they are so quick to gang up and go after a man they hate for showing any sign of weakness?"

Men on Wall Street are so spooked by the #MeToo movement they’re avoiding women at all costs
No more dinners with female colleagues. Don’t sit next to them on flights. Book hotel rooms on different floors. Avoid one-on-one meetings.
In fact, as a wealth adviser put it, just hiring a woman these days is “an unknown risk.” What if she took something he said the wrong way?
Across Wall Street, men are adopting controversial strategies for the #MeToo era and, in the process, making life even harder for women.
Call it the Pence Effect, after U.S. Vice President Mike Pence, who has said he avoids dining alone with any woman other than his wife. In finance, the overarching impact can be, in essence, gender segregation.
Interviews with more than 30 senior executives suggest many are spooked by #MeToo and struggling to cope. “It’s creating a sense of walking on eggshells,” said David Bahnsen, a former managing director at Morgan Stanley who’s now an independent adviser overseeing more than US$1.5 billion.
This is hardly a single-industry phenomenon, as men across the country check their behaviour at work, to protect themselves in the face of what they consider unreasonable political correctness — or to simply do the right thing. The upshot is forceful on Wall Street, where women are scarce in the upper ranks. The industry has also long nurtured a culture that keeps harassment complaints out of the courts and public eye, and has so far avoided a mega-scandal like the one that has engulfed Harvey Weinstein.
Now, more than a year into the #MeToo movement — with its devastating revelations of harassment and abuse in Hollywood, Silicon Valley and beyond — Wall Street risks becoming more of a boy’s club, rather than less of one.
“Women are grasping for ideas on how to deal with it, because it is affecting our careers,” said Karen Elinski, president of the Financial Women’s Association and a senior vice president at Wells Fargo & Co. “It’s a real loss.”
There’s a danger, too, for companies that fail to squash the isolating backlash and don’t take steps to have top managers be open about the issue and make it safe for everyone to discuss it, said Stephen Zweig, an employment attorney with FordHarrison.
“If men avoid working or traveling with women alone, or stop mentoring women for fear of being accused of sexual harassment,” he said, “those men are going to back out of a sexual harassment complaint and right into a sex discrimination complaint.”
While the new personal codes for dealing with #MeToo have only just begun to ripple, the shift is already palpable, according to the people interviewed, who declined to be named. They work for hedge funds, law firms, banks, private equity firms and investment-management firms.
For obvious reasons, few will talk openly about the issue. Privately, though, many of the men interviewed acknowledged they’re channeling Pence, saying how uneasy they are about being alone with female colleagues, particularly youthful or attractive ones, fearful of the rumour mill or of, as one put it, the potential liability.
A manager in infrastructure investing said he won’t meet with female employees in rooms without windows anymore; he also keeps his distance in elevators. A late-40-something in private equity said he has a new rule, established on the advice of his wife, an attorney: no business dinner with a woman 35 or younger.
The changes can be subtle but insidious, with a woman, say, excluded from casual after-work drinks, leaving male colleagues to bond, or having what should be a private meeting with a boss with the door left wide open.
On Wall Street as elsewhere, reactions to #MeToo can smack of paranoia, particularly given the industry’s history of protecting its biggest revenue generators.
“Some men have voiced concerns to me that a false accusation is what they fear,” said Zweig, the lawyer. “These men fear what they cannot control.”
There are as many or more men who are responding in quite different ways. One, an investment adviser who manages about 100 employees, said he briefly reconsidered having one-on-one meetings with junior women. He thought about leaving his office door open, or inviting a third person into the room.
Finally, he landed on the solution: “Just try not to be an asshole.”
That’s pretty much the bottom line, said Ron Biscardi, chief executive officer of Context Capital Partners. “It’s really not that hard.”
In January, as #MeToo was gathering momentum, Biscardi did away with the late-night, open-bar gathering he’d hosted for years in his penthouse suite during Context Capital’s annual conference at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. “Given the fact that women are in the minority at our events, we want to make sure that the environment is always welcoming and comfortable. We felt that eliminating the after-party was necessary to remain consistent with that goal.”
In this charged environment, the question is how the response to #MeToo might actually end up hurting women’s progress. Given the male dominance in Wall Street’s top jobs, one of the most pressing consequences for women is the loss of male mentors who can help them climb the ladder.
“There aren’t enough women in senior positions to bring along the next generation all by themselves,” said Lisa Kaufman, chief executive officer of LaSalle Securities. “Advancement typically requires that someone at a senior level knows your work, gives you opportunities and is willing to champion you within the firm. It’s hard for a relationship like that to develop if the senior person is unwilling to spend one-on-one time with a more junior person.”
Men have to step up, she said, and “not let fear be a barrier.”
    ——— end article —–
So thats it, men are assholes if they try to change their behavior and limit opportunities for women to make charges against them. The women always make it about themselves, never even considering what men are facing. Because as women they are not up against what men are facing, so they dont have to care, and never do.
Its called FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION, and we dont force office women to hang around with office men they dont want to be around in their spare time off the clock. f~~~ off, the pence rules are going to be normalized for any man who values freedom and career.

I think “legal safespace” is a fitting name.

    A simple statement of:

“Are we segregating women? No, we value their contributions. Rather we are observing a necessary safe space to alleviate potential legal problems and promote equality between the sexes.”

Young men think they are invincible and some have to learn the hard way that you follow the Pence rules and never are with a woman alone again without the door wide open.

Almost happened to me but my boss knew better and had my buddy come in to represent me.

Exactly – it was fine until they realised that it might hit their pockets. This isn’t some great moral revelation and turnaround – it’s ruthless self interest.
