I am actually surprised at the MGTOW reaction to the proposition of celebrating Christmas. Overwhelming rejection! Total rejection of the commercialization of an old tradition. I’m totally onside with that. In the late nineties I established a practice of noone buying me gifts. Two years in a row I pulled the gag that Dad would earn a lump of coal in his stocking because he plotted icing the roof and stealing all of Santa’s presents. The children were most excited to see me get nothing than any of their own presents!
Christmas, to me, is a time for personal reflection. I once visited the family plot in Cape Breton Christmas Eve, to avoid it all for awhile, and the cemetery roads were lined with cars. Everyone remembering the ones they loved. I went to a midnight service later and had to leave the extra seats they had in the aisle because I couldnèt stop crying.

As I don’t believe in any religion to me it is just another day. i spend it alone trying to find something worth watching on the TV which is fruitless so i then read or go the internet or watch dvds.

I send my niece a card with £5 in and my younger brother a card and my father a card that is it.

I feel slightly blue pill for even doing that.

Yeah, I like the Old Tradition part of it. I hate the Commercialization of it though. Consumerism is a disgusting culture and I don’t want any part of it.

There is something beautiful about the Winter Solstice and I always take some time for personal reflection on that day. After all, my ancestors have been celebrating Winter Solstice for thousands of years, they called it Yule-Tide. I’d like to at least keep that tradition alive.

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ. It’s not the holiday’s fault that people use it as an excuse to waste resources in their worship of consumerism. Jesus never asked us to send a million holiday cards or buy a tree and strangle it with s~~~ty decorations or eat ourselves sick.

Frankly, I don’t see why non Christians have any reason to celebrate Christmas at all, or notice its existence. I don’t celebrate Hanukkah or Ramadan. But for some reason, Christmas is a big deal for people that don’t even believe in Christ. Weird ass s~~~.

Still, buy some eggnog at least, and put a little whiskey in it. That stuff is godly.

Women are better at multitasking? Fucking up several things at once is not multitasking.

Yea, that is how it pretty much is for us Atheists. How would you guys feel if “THERE IS NO GOD” day were a Government recognized holiday? And by tradition you were enticed with gifts from a young age and therefore conditioned into participating in it’s celebration every year?

It’s pretty f~~~ed to me. I am kinda like CrankGanker, I go for the visit, but that is about it. Even then I would much rather not go at all, as it screams conformist and consumerist to my rebel soul, that and I am pretty sure if this Christ guy were real this is not what he had in mind at all.

Well, the Christmas Tree is a carry over from the Yule Log celebration. Its Viking in origins. In the old days certain Trees were considered Sacred, same with Mistletoe. Just old Viking traditions that got transferred over to England. When the Vikings converted to Christianity they kept their old traditions, but also celebrated Christ’s Mass on that day. Decorating the Tree was always my favorite part.

See, this why women are same as children as when grown up.

No one ever stops treating them as a spoiled child. Getting all they demand and crying when they are denied, and never paying for it.

No one teaches them to grow the f~~~ up anymore.

Guys are at an early age because gynocentric programming is followed by women, society and beta males who know these boys are going to have to provide for,the girls they deliberately are raising not to be responsible and provide for themselves. They just have to find and attach to a husbank. Any good one will do, she can always leave and take half his stuff and start over with a new beta husbank.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

yeah it’s great. This will be my second christmas and thanksgiving I’ve skipped, but the first where I didn’t think I needed an excuse. It’s so stressful and unenjoyable. And then the gift giving. It’s like I don’t want anything, if I did, I’d just go buy it. But the stress of having to go buy other people gifts. It’s so nice to just be able to say no to all of it, and literally just live my life.

The cost just is not worth the benefit. All the dinner stuff, all the family stuff, all the gift stuff, all of it is a hassle in my eyes. It’s nice to just not have to deal with it. Again, this will be my second year, and this will be my first year of having no excuses and literally going no where, but I am looking forward to it. It’s going to be so nice. And I’m sure it’ll be really quiet to because everyone will be leaving to go do their family thing and I can just chill in peace.

Truth has no place to live in the mind of a woman.
