I was working overnight security for a hotel once. This older woman had a rental car which she parked nose facing the building in a decline. As she would try to reverse out backwards, the car would leech forward closer to the wall. The dumb c~~~ actually asked me to get in front of the car and help push it backwards. I didn’t say anything at first because all I could imagine was the car rolling forward into my legs and crushing them against the wall. I had to politely tell her no but I really wanted to point out how incredibly stupid she was for even asking.

In my younger blue pill days I helped a woman stuck in a muddy field entrance by pushing her car.

I went out on date once with woman who said she was single. Were at a fancy night club. Her husband tracked her down and was p~~~ed so she started begging me to defend her, I said No, and of course he confronted me. I told him she lied to me and said she was single. She’s your problem now. Just like the song he turned to scream at her I took my 3 steps out the door and left her there with him.

We grow up with noble intentions, to never say no, to put others first. It is indeed noble but it becomes a trap for our minds, designed to keep us serving. It leads many to ruin.
I still do good unto others, but now I’m selective as f~~~ with it 🙂
