my biggest fear is that I wont be able to talk a man off the ledge, I wasn’t good enough to help. I’m 16 wins 0 losses right now. I don’t want to hear a final shot, or a choking sound. not sure what that would do to me. I talk to these guys and I am scared for them.

I ask these guys to call me back a couple days later, accountability. They always call back at least once. One guy calls me every month. He does that because I told him to. We don’t talk, I just see the number in the recent calls list on my phone.

Please just know that whatever s~~~ you go through today will work itself out with time, rational thought and work.

    may 7 2020,

I remember reading many of your posts over time and they are deep and very revealing. I don’t know if it was you who wrote about a story where you were driving on the road and you saw your daughter driving up ahead. Could be someone else, but it was a good story.

I can appreciate that what you share with us, in writing, is only 0.00000001% of the real suffering you went through. A suffering that I will never be able to even imagine. You are right regarding maintaining this website by actively positive fresh content to help men get back on track.

Been almost a year here for me, so relatively new. Went through something similar, very specific, but basically I was part of a bunch of new people to show up on the Zelda board at IGN years ago. The old guard didn’t much like us and moved on to an older one, where people there were forced to pack up, and what’s funnier is the group I was in started complaining about newer members later on.

So while I don’t have much context for how this place started out, beyond going to read old threads, I hope nothing like that happens here. It is among the better forums I’ve frequented and a haven for sane men. You may be able to debate the quality of topics compared to those in the past, but it seems to me that near everyone here is rational enough to come to an agreement or at least coexist. We don’t have women and don’t often have liberals or SJWs aside from the rare trolls, so those are already some things not contributing to a meltdown.

Young guys got a right to be young.

Just like I gota right to be old.

Their challangeing us is a Rite of passage.

Weather we like it or not.

That too popped into my mind as I was writing my previous posts and it’s fair enough in a way. However, how much “space” does that kind of thing need to take up in here? The topics roll down faster than rain down a window pane during a hurricane. There’s got to be a little more balance.

The younger guys live in a faster world.

It aslo depends on the time of day, and day of the week.

Intelectuals can still write their stuff. So why dont they.

    Seems theres room for everyone.

Room for everyone…. yes! But who the f~~~ wants to spend their time posting anything on a forum like this, is another question.

    Well, first off…
I’m definately among the younger and newer members here, no more than 6 months or so. I must admit I have noticed changes after taking a short hiatus for personal reasons. When I came back in a few weeks I found that one of the first MGHOW that I have come to befriend on this forum had utterly dissapearred. His account wiped clean and labled as a ”ghost”.

A bit of googling led me to some of the details of his dissapearance, but I don’t know the whole story.

I’ve also come to notice a trend of newer members with an increasing lack of respect or sheer desire to conduct turmoil and skirmishes with the rest of us.

I’ve come to sense a decrease in moral strength here. There seems to be… a dampering on the fire that should be burning here…

Finally, I’ve noticed, some of the senior members, they’ve had a change of tone. As if they’re fed up, and almost ready to mentally check out. As if they’ve exhausted themselves. Doing what, I cannot say for my recent absense has kept me out of the loup for a little while.

As for KM, well he seems to be as aloof as he was 6 months ago, but perhaps that’s because I just don’t know him as well as some of you might.

At any rate, the former summarises the changes i’ve noticed around these pages.

    Secondly

One strange thought that crossed my mind is how this may be an experiment to see what happens when this place is on auto pilot and the level of commitment starts to sink.

I’m glad to know i’m not the only one that thought of this. I don’t regard the current state of affairs of MGTOW.com as dark times per say, but rather a trial of sorts, to see if it can withstand the test of time. Times change, people change, but so long as the core principles of MGTOW remain intact, then the metaphorical fire can still be passed down.

Point Of No Return, I understand your points and I agree with many of them, but I think you’re worried a out a self correcting problem. This forum will stabilize itself once again so long as guidance and precedence remain, atleast for those who seek it. I don’t expect any of you to babysit the newer generations that visit here, I sure as hell wont. But I will be around to offer my words where I see fit, and move on from matters that pose nothing more as a waste of time and energy.

If you need to step away from these forums, by all means, noone will hold you at a gun’s point for it. If you fear that this place will not stay afloat, then I would suggest you consider the possibility that you’re simply looking at the glass half empty. I have faith that these forums will persist, I just think we need the right push so to speak.

But now I have to draw the line, for I refuse to believe that we as men are so weak minded to buckle down at the mere waning presence of our “leader”. We are much stronger than you are giving us credit for. You are free to believe in what you will, but I’d rather have faith in the strength that resides in all of us than “dark times”.

Whether our beloved KM is here or not matters not for my demeanor nor my principles, I am the same as I was 6 months ago, and I will never deter.

    For goodness sake…
    “REMEMBER WHAT BROUGHT YOU HERE.”

Working on my dreams, one day at a time..,
