MGTOW.com Is Definitely Going Through Some Growing Pains Nowadays

This space is just over four years old. Many of you remember earlier moments in its evolution. Some of you are new and maybe know little of its historical progress. Things have taken a turn for the worse here lately. I going to assume it’s because of growing pains and an absent dad. One strange thought that crossed my mind is how this may be an experiment to see what happens when this place is on auto pilot and the level of commitment starts to sink. Some of you are obviously committed to reaching out to guys that damned well need this place so that they don’t actually wind up dead. Others are just here swinging the s~~~ around. The laissez-faire is starting to have results and I’m not sure it’s conducive to one of the, or at least what I think is, more important aspects of a place like this. And that is intelligent thought. I can think of a dozen members that I use to see here regularly that had meaningful, insightful and intelligent opinions, that are poof, gone. Others are still hanging on, weathering the s~~~storm. I’m not here to preach. I’m here to expose what at least a half dozen important contributors have openly said on the formus lately. And that is that things here are amiss. I personally think a landing is required and the stabilisers need to be re-calibrated big time. I don’t want to make this too long but the idea was to creat a thread that will hopefully not be hijacked by the trolls so that MGTOW that have a certain sense of duty can express what it means to reach out. I’m not saying it has to be all no-fun, no-games, and Gargamel is still around to see to that. But dang! This place needs to be shaped up. Seriously!

Dudes, once again I have one foot out the door. I disappeared for a while then came back. Now this place looks like it needs some renovating. And for those of you thinking STFU and get lost. That’s the problem! I don’t want s~~~ that I can read right out of your mind! I want stuff that will make me think, for real. Damned! It had to get to this!

I agree, but I’m optimistic. I think we can weather this little squall and continue growing. Men need help and are finding it here.

In the meantime, I try to just relax. A recent thread comes to mind where I chose to simply disengage instead of continuing to argue. It was tempting to fire back with inflammatory remarks but I’m glad I didn’t.

I don’t know what the future of this site will look like but I think it will still be around, and relevant.

There are very few divorced depressed Men showing up any more.

Mostly young guys busting in big and bold.

Its changed.

Like it or not.

Young guys want to have fun, or learn how to scrap.

There are some damned good contributors here. And it doesn’t feel right to walk away, I don’t even consider myself halfway to where I’d like to be in terms of creative MGTOW thought, stuff that’s worth gold. But I may need to take another break. At least if I leave the joint for a while it’s not because I’ve turned the craft around and have headed back to the plantation. It’ll be because I need some space to reconsider the positive that MGTOW ought to be bringing to each in every man, no matter what space he finds himself in. Shoot the s~~~! Seriously I don’t have any problem with that. Line them up and gun them down, it’s therapeutic for most guys in here (and lurkers that are out there bashing MGTOW you don’t understand diddly-squat about that). Dealing with red pill rage in here, in VR, that to me is acceptable. But let it be for the good of the man. I could give examples of dudes here that I’ve seen red pill rage and I just seem to sense that it’s therapeutic. Others however are just wasting VR space and discouraging constructive discourse on MGTOW matters. You just know the difference.

I’m still a fairly new user, so I don’t know how things used to be in the past.

This place is on decent lockdown. I don’t see women posting here or blue pills that often (I have some suspicions on a few here).

Essentially, we have a place to discuss whatever is on our minds. What the people here choose to talk about creates the culture.

What would you change, if you could?

That too popped into my mind as I was writing my previous posts and it’s fair enough in a way. However, how much “space” does that kind of thing need to take up in here? The topics roll down faster than rain down a window pane during a hurricane. There’s got to be a little more balance.

I agree. This site was a godsend when I was going through some s~~~.

Purchasing, maintaining and getting it to this point had to take a huge investment in time and money. It doesn’t make sense to just let it drift. It’s come to far for that.

Regardless, my life has dramatically improved by what I’ve learned here and put into practice. No troll or shaming can ever actually change how I live my life every day. Free, happy and optimistic.

To give you an idea just go see the MGTOW reddit. It has a different feel to it yet it’s pure MGTOW too. Imo it also has too many rules, and this place has very few in comparison. It works if participants can be discerning and considerate from time to time if not all the time. Growing pains… MGTOW itself, that is, the part of MGTOW that came as a response to 3rd wave feminism is at least 10, 15 years old. It’s time to take a step back and look at the bigger picture.
