Thieves punched a gas pipeline and made off with thousands of gallons of gas. Once word got out hundreds of people rushed in to fill up from the geysering gasoline pipeline.
This is before.

Then of course the gasoline vapors found an ignition source.
Note… The little b~~~~ of flame moving away from the big flame. Those are humans on fire.

Are they that desperate and stupid in Mexico? Doesn’t anyone teach common sense about flammable liquids, vapor ignition and smoking around said vapors? Or is it a matter of they just don’t care if they live or die because its so bad down there…

Fuel is valuable. If you don’t have much you will take risks for valuable stuff. Just out of interest I wonder what the ratio of men hurt to women hurt was? It looked like a dirty job to me and so only women who couldn’t send a man are likely to have gone.

I am surprised that this incident hasn’t been used as a liberal cry to shutdown US pipelines. It would be a ridiculous argument for multiple reasons, but still surprised that it hasn’t been made.
