Hey guys, i just want to share about my feelings here.
I love reading manga, comic, and watching movies, but now, im being disappointed because many manga, comic, and movies, viewing that woman is more special than man, promote man to be a doll which women can use and disposed, and many things that promote woman and degrade man.
For example, im reading this manga, since i was 5 years old, and it still produced a new series until now, the name is K*bo Chan. This manga is for every age reader, and this begin in 2014, when this manga, begin to promote woman are more special than man, can you believe it? It is very disturbing for me and getting rid of all the fun. Before, this manga is not promoting which gender is special neither man or woman, just a simple life of a 5 years old kid with his family, but now why all of this things happen? Im very disappointed.
Also, there goes for many movies, both TV Serial and Hollywood, there is many scenes that promoting one side gender is above the other gender, what the f~~~!
Thank you for attentions, im just sharing my feelings here to fellow MGTOW.
Anyone here have same experience as mine?
The thing with Manga, comic, anime, etc.. that you have to keep in mind is that they portray the perfect world where gender roles still exist and everyone is the role that they’re portrayed to be. Young teen male goes through his “rite of passage” to become a man, has a untainted view about justice, honor, self-sacrifice, and protecting the weak.
The woman of those media are also portrayed with the same qualities, max femininity, honor, self-sacrificing, loyal, etc.. which also reflects their “rite of passage” to becoming the proper woman. Every woman lead woman/womans will have their own “persona” but at their core will have these qualities.
The villain/mini-villains of these media can either be male/female but their sole purpose is to push the heroes to grow and be better. They can be outright evil or subtle with just merely a tint of “red pill” knowledge and that in itself pushes the heroes into being “better”.
In another thread there was a talk about a male student character in Great Teacher Onizuka where he was bullied buy 3 female classmates. Yea it’s messed up but it was that male character’s “rite of passage” where he finally stops cowering, stands up on his own two feet, and takes charge and where the female classmates’ “rite of passage” learns that they were f~~~ed up and slowly becomes a better person. In the later episodes it reflects this where she finally stops bullying him and start treating him like a human being.
I would recommend you to watch My Teen Romantic Comedy Snafu, where the main character is an social outcast with a “red pill” mentality. It’s loaded with diverse character personas I think you would enjoy watching and might relate to the main character’s philosophy. It’s written pretty well for being a manga geared towards the teen audience.
Yeah, i agree with you Tupros, but this thing, before it never happened in K*obo Chan series since 1988 (the day the comic published) and suddenly, in 2014, the manga begin to make the main character to approve that woman always win, im so sad and disappointed that this manga i love since i was 5 years old, 23 years of reading, begin to rot like this.
Feminism really taking control in every aspect.
Agreed but luckily anything that Feminism has touched has died out quickly which is a good and a bad thing(female thor?). Yeah it kills off the series that you liked so much but hopefully teaches the publisher that you do not alienate your main audience. In rare instances, hopefully the author could be setting stuff up to drive a point home(“accountability, taking responsibility for your mistakes, etc..”).
Fortunately there has been quite a few good manga/anime that hasn’t been tainted by the feminism group.
Here’s a snippet of the main protagonist’s view point of the series I described above:
The media you’re complaining about is marketed commercially. It is designed to appeal to the largest possible audience to bring in the maximum amount of profit. MGTOW is not mainstream.
You’re going to find feminist and traditionalist bulls~~~ in any given media. Manga and anime are no exception. But that doesn’t mean they are exclusively so. It’s worth it to keep looking for the good stuff, and stop wasting your time on the bad (and especially stop paying for it).
Maybe we need to start a list of manga and manime to make such things easier to find.
I’ll start it off with the obvious: Cowboy Bebop, Golgo 13, Fist of the North Star, M.D. Geist

You know I smiled reading this post, it gave me a sense of deja vu. I guess you are new here and when I was more or less a newcomer I too made a similar post.
/forums/topic/relentless-assault-how-do-you-keep-your-cool/
And if you remain here you will see more posts like these in future from new guys on the block. On the subject of manga/anime I personally never got the chance to get into it cause I was an 80’s kid. Mid 80’s to mid 90’s to be precise. And mainstream American animations like Superman, Batman, Spiderman, He Man and reruns of old classics like Popeye, Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo etc. were more popular. There was one anime, a really old one called Tatsu no ko Taro that I saw and really loved. I wasn’t exactly a series but a really sweet story of a boy whose mother was cursed and turned into a dragon and about his quest for her redemption.
But those good old days are gone and replaced with this skewed up topsy-turvy psycho-f~~~ wonderland called reality. And the moment you take the red pill you realise how deep the rabbit hole goes. And that hurts, real bad.
The only way to retain sanity is to stop following the herd and GYOW.
+1 both sidecar and triklops.
Anonymous14+1 both sidecar and triklops.
I’ll take your +1, raise you a +1 and this lovely piece of mantastic anime
Blushire: you should post something in the introductions section.
I agree with stay with good stuff and stop reading/watching feminist material.
Also I like the idea of a double list, good / bad material.
I apreciated “Blame!” and “Biomega”. They are from the same author.
Avoiding feminist material is hard, but it can be done. My time and money is best spent elsewhere.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
Like pretty much any creative medium, once it becomes mainstream it starts to deteriorate when it comes to quality. I think Anime/Manga pretty much peaked in the 90’s. Once Pokemon hit the US everything started going to s~~~. And once all the DBZ clones started to pop up it was the proverbial nail in the coffin.
I’m still surprised at how many 20 year olds and 30 year olds that are still infatuated with Pokemon. And I’m not just talking about the video games. I don’t know if it’s some hipster bulls~~~ but it’s pretty god damn pathetic.
That being said, I would consider Vampire Hunter D as being one of the earlier MGTOW in anime (even though he was introduced in novels). There are also quite a few characters in the DBZ universe that aren’t pussy beggars or always trying to save women. A lot just want to continue to get more powerful. Goku doesn’t have the typical lovey dovey relationship with his wife and is basically always running off to train or fight.
Of course I don’t watch DBZ anymore, haven’t for a long time but it, along with DB, pretty much set the standard for the shounen battle genre.
The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave.I find a lot of the American comics are attempting to cater towards more of a female audience. I don’t understand what’s wrong with just telling a great story and letting the characters shine on their own merits, regardless of what gender they are.

Agreed!

Money, money, money. That’s what motivates all of this.

I think theres a second season coming out soon.
Actions have consequences and consequences have prices. Cause and effect at work.

Damn, never seen that one before, started out weird and already liking it somewhat, cheers
And OP, there are many mangas/animes out there, and plenty of them touches upon niche groups, so you are sure to find some of them to be spared of feminist bull crap, although they will be rare, and there’s more to choose from in the manga section, than anime. For anime, it’s mostly the classic that got the depths of proper characters, just enjoy the stories for what they are, do try and dissect them, so you don’t let yourself get some blue pill stuff in your head.
I noticed this when Xena the Warrior princess came out. I remember watching Hercules TV shows as a kid and even then knew they were morality plays about what a man, “man”, can do when he puts his mind to fighting injustice.
Then Xena came out and in I knew enough MRA stuff to know what was going on. Hollywood was trying to co-opt Hercules into female.
The problem was that the writers where all lesbians and the following became all lesbian. The hero’s, Xena and her girlfriend, had to become lovers, cause all women are like that, and stopped giving a hoot about anyone. They were written as females.
That backfired on Hollywood and now the latest incarnation of Hercules shows the Rock kickin ass.
My conclusion is that money talks and feminism walks. Genre for men will fail when made for women. It’s a business move to them. I politically motivated suicidal business move.
As it has in the past, it will fail and the original nature of the story will revive. It’s about male and female nature and that doesn’t change.
Xena and her scissor partner:
Hollywoods final defeat by little boys who like superhero’s.
#icethemout; Remember Thomas Ball. He died for your children.
Another good manime: Armitage.
It may not seem like it what with a female main character, but from a political perspective it’s completely on target. I could explain why but I don’t want to give out any spoilers.
