Wondering, how it would look like to analyse some of the great ones main male characters in some of them, like Cowboy Bebop, Spike being MGTOW after one crazy serious part of his life, although still having this special feeling for this one gal, was she a NAWALT? Not to mention Faye being a rather special kind of Tom-boy girl.

Berserk, Guts being a rather MGTOW esque guy in the start, before he got them feels for Casca or White Hawk, since he admired him so much as well, or vice versa almost.

I noticed this when Xena the Warrior princess came out. I remember watching Hercules TV shows as a kid and even then knew they were morality plays about what a man, “man”, can do when he puts his mind to fighting injustice. Then Xena came out and in I knew enough MRA stuff to know what was going on. Hollywood was trying to co-opt Hercules into female. The problem was that the writers where all lesbians and the following became all lesbian. The hero’s, Xena and her girlfriend, had to become lovers, cause all women are like that, and stopped giving a hoot about anyone. They were written as females. That backfired on Hollywood and now the latest incarnation of Hercules shows the Rock kickin ass. My conclusion is that money talks and feminism walks. Genre for men will fail when made for women. It’s a business move to them. I politically motivated suicidal business move. As it has in the past, it will fail and the original nature of the story will revive. It’s about male and female nature and that doesn’t change. Xena and her scissor partner: Xena Hollywoods final defeat by little boys who like superhero’s.

I always hated that show. Always.

It’s too bad that we have to wait a year a chapter it seems now for Berserk. F~~~ing ridiculous.

The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave.

The Grappler Baki manga was good for awhile but the mangaka just went off the deep end with his ridiculous storytelling. Not to mention he pretty much thinks that the Japanese are the master race and that Asian martial arts is unparalleled without exception.

Berserk, Guts being a rather MGTOW esque guy in the start, before he got them feels for Casca or White Hawk, since he admired him so much as well, or vice versa almost.

Guts big “mistake”, which set off the destructive behavior of Griffith, was totally MGTOW. He recognized he could no longer improve as a swordsman with the Band of the Hawk and it was time to go his own way.

I think it can be argued Guts was always MGTOW from start to finish in the anime (and from start to never-gonna-end in the manga). He was forced into service at one point. However, he was never cowed. He routinely did whatever the hell he wanted when he was with the Band of the Hawk and as soon as he decided it was time to go he went.

Guts from Berserk and my Avatar (Ramza Beoulve) from Final Fantasy Tactics are the best MGTOW examples in anime and video gaming respectively.

It’s never going to end. I give George R R Martin better odds of finishing his work than the mangaka doing berserk.

I’m still surprised at how many 20 year olds and 30 year olds that are still infatuated with Pokemon. And I’m not just talking about the video games. I don’t know if it’s some hipster bulls~~~ but it’s pretty god damn pathetic.

The video games are fantastic. They’re the reason we had that stupid Pokemon craze for so long and why it never really died. The video games are what make Pokemon so viral. They’ve put out a lot of high quality games and each generation has been better than the previous ones for twenty years. Game Freak are some bad motherf~~~ers.

Well Guts was born from a corpse, raped as a child and raised on the battlefield by a foster father that in the end tried to kill him so his situation was pretty unique to say the least.

I never had any interest in the Pokemon stuff. I hear nerds making Jiggly Puff references and want to start choking someone.

Yea I stopped buying and am waiting until Miura finishes it.  The art has gotten way better but I read of his addiction to some idol game that literally has interfered with the progress of the manga.  So I’m not happy about it.
