Lost boy, please understand that many of us here have stood alone at the side of the cliff.

Many, many (over 25 and counting) of men that I have personally known have decided to give up.

I myself stood upon the cliff. My father’s advice was for me to fix me first. To become the man I needed to be for the day when my children returned into my life.

In my case I had to let my children go to their mother. I prepared for the day they would need me. The day came and I was prepared.

Your case is your case. I only know a miniscule amount of nothing about your case.

But in general, a man is not allowed a f~~~ up or do over. Do better and report back to us. Set a goal and report back to us.

If you can, turn around, stand firmly with both feet planted on the ground and scream into the wind. Then, go forth and become the man you choose to be.
