Living with a female (roommate) (text message pics)

I probably dun f~~~ed up here on this one guys.

So a lot of you know my story of me moving out. My friend found a place for me on craigslist and I went to check it out. I didn’t know that my roommate would be a female until i went there. The place itself is bigger and better and the same price as where I am now. The only problem is female. I was introduced to her boyfriend (doesn’t live there and she claims is barely there and she works a lot so she is hardly there either). seems cool. whatever. I almost left until she introduced me to her dog that had been hiding in her room the whole time. That’s when i fell in love.

I told her i would get back to her to let her know if I would like to stay there. I’ve looked at other places around my area and the selection is limited based on my needs. Plus, with more drama going on where i’m at, i’m honestly done thinking about it and ready to GTFO ASAP….so i told her i’m moving in. She said she already had someone interested yadda yadda and i work my charm and talked her into disregarding that other person and giving me the spot. So it is agreed that i am moving in with her later this month. We text each other and I’m scared because this is what happened:

btw, here is some background:
-I’m black and built
-she is white and jewish and not physically my type
(recipe for disaster concerning possible jealous boyfriend from my experience, and just general sexual tension in living space regardless of the fact if she’s “not my type”).

What the hell could that devil face mean? She told me that her and her boyfriend won’t last because he is going away for school or something before. I hope that she isn’t planning on anything sexual? that would just interfere with the living situation because the craziness unleashes once you stick your dick in pandora’s box and i would hate to live through that again (i once did). I don’t know if i’m paranoid, i’m assuming, or what…but I’m trippin over the fact that she might want me to f~~~ her or something. i see red flags.

When i meet with her on wednesday, I just plan on being casual but about business. I don’t want to speculate too much, but this already seems like a f~~~ed up situation. I kind of want to be there because i love that dog though and i already put the footwork into finding another place to live :-/

My recommendation: don’t have a female for a roommate. You’ll be like a beta in the friend zone. I wonder how long before she has a list of s~~~ for you to fix around the apartment?

Furthermore, your text message sounds more like a potential date then consideration for a roommate.

On another note, I have to shake my head at the “too busy” thing. I hear that from women all the time, but I believe it’s a pile of crap.

I can understand you falling in love with a dog. They’re amazing creatures. But you can just as easily rent a different place, and volunteer at the animal shelter, foster, or even adopt a dog for yourself.

Wolf does have a point, it does sound as a potential date and it should not have if it was really strictly business which I trust it is

On the other hand, Its gonna be quite tricky to be picky at the moment Wolf, as BlackPill said his situation is not something that he can be openly picky.

@blackpill are you sure this are your only options right now? cause it sounds to me based on what you gave us is you will benefit in the short-term but how bout your long-term? Will you be able to put up with those “s~~~ that needs fixing” as Wolf stated?

This. Why were you pressing her to know what she was thinking about and why did you offer to meet up to discuss it? I dont know if there was more to the comtext to this text, but based on what was given I dont know why you would assume it was about you, then ask her to meet you in person to discuss it, then be worried she wants to f~~~ you(?)…

Oh, and female roommates are a f~~~ing nightmare. Had one once, was f~~~ing hell.

Where to begin…

She had a daddy complex and all 3 different guys she was seeing that I met, while only being roommates for a year were: mid 40s (business owner and loaded) 65+ (stock broker, loaded and MARRIED), 60 ( she met him while being a student in his photography class).. She was 22.

Small things from her just being an entitled c~~~- she comes home while Im cooking myself dinner and just stares at me and says in a bitch tone “it smells like GARLIC!!!”. No s~~~ c~~~, Im making myself dinner.

She wanted to bbq with her gf but was terrified of fire. Asks me to light the grill. No problem. I thought it was odd that when I went onto the patio to light it, she stepped foot inside and closed the glass door while watching me. I toss a match in the grill and LITERALLY a ball of flames hurls up and I jump back…She left the gas on for 5 minutes before asking me to light it.

I came home from a bar around 11 or so. Door is locked. She locked the dead bolt ( which no key will unlock) thinking Im in bed. I knock repeatedly. No answer. I call. No answer. I throw some pebbles against her window. No answer. Shes stoned asleep. Some neighbors saw me and didnt recognize me in the dark and call the cops. I explain the situation, but have to go get a hotel room. Next day Im texting her “wtf happened” explaining to her what I had to do. Rather than talk to me directly she texts my sister (she has never even met her and only has her number in case of emergency) causing all this drama saying “I think your brother is mad at me”…rather than simply talk to me.

Another time she flew back home for a month. I had the place to myself and left some beer bottles out, after having a friend over. She comes home a few days early without telling me and is p~~~ed off because the place is a mess. Whats she do? Steals my pescription medication, trashes my room, then orders some maid service that costs $300 expecting me to pay for it.

F~~~ING…NIGHTMARE.

Neat freak or not… She will make you throw out the garbage and do the majority of the chores… and treat you with little to no respect… all the while claiming to be the cleaner of the two of you… especially when you stop doing the chores for her. You will also have to deal with her disgusting smells… Women wear perfume for a reason… and it’s not because they are hygenic…. far from it. average woman showers maybe twice a week if your lucky. disgusting.

That is my experience with female roommates.

I’m oh so glad that she moved out after i told her to stop stealing my f~~~ing butter via writing (f~~~ you) in my butter.

Waited until the lease was up and we parted ways. Ironically the rich business owner bf of hers was really cool. South African cat who started his own business and hit gold. He owned an estate and had a batting cage in his backyard. Anyway, I mention this because she didnt even move her own s~~~. SA cat showed up with his personal assistant to move it for her. We chatted for a while and I told him how she stole my prescription. We went to her nightstand and I found the empty bottle with my name on it. He asked me if he could take a picture of it to show it to her and said he was going to make her get counseling or she couldnt live with him. He hated her drama too.

Hi, BlackPill. Your situation is delicate to say the least and I know your choices are limited.
I’d advise you NOT to anticipate so much or assume too much either. It will show in your body language and she’ll get the wrong message or pretend to.
So far, I haven’t read anything that should cause you to run. She seems eager to show you that you shouldn’t be on your guard about “the boyfriend” but that doesn’t mean she wants nookie from you.
Problem is, bitches are very very good at hiding their intentions, lying and generally take you for a fool so be on your guard but don’t get sick over it. You’re a smart guy.
Still, though. I would keep my eyes open for a better situation, say, a gay roomate? Ha haaa! Most definitely no, but keep your red pills close and try not to initiate something you’ll regret.

May God be with you. I did the roommate thing back in 2003 and it was an experience I choose never to repeat. She was separated from her husband because he drank a lot (hmm. .I wonder why). Plus, I worked with her and she was a manager. Keep in mind, that this was back in my blue pill days. I was desperate, however, to reduce my living expenses. Therefore, I moved in with her.

I hardly had time to myself and she interrupted me constantly with nagging behavior about how I left a dish in the sink and that I didn’t do this or I didn’t do that. The whole frustration that I was feeling was starting to spill over into work. I tried to reason with her and have a calm discussion in the living room but she constantly interrupted me by raising her voice. Needless to say, I moved out and got a place of my own.

No man should have to put up with this s~~~. I’m glad I got out while I did.
