The notice that the live chat is down does not appear until after you already pay for membership. Prior to paying, it only says the chat exists for ghost/galt members. You can log out and click on the chat link to see the message it shows. On the membership tier lists, chat access is indeed advertised, hence this thread to recommend that it not be until the chat is restored. If The chat had been taken down recently I would understand the webmaster not having time to do it, but as the chat has been down apparently since July then it seems paid memberships are being solicited under false pretenses.

I have a legitimate issue regarding not receiving an advertised service I paid for.
