In my opinion you should make it clear to people that Live Chat is down (and apparently has been down for some time) before enticing them to get Ghost or Galt membership. Any idea when it’s coming back up?

Manners? Sorry didn’t know I had to worry about hurting people’s feelings by pointing out that you should not advertise a paid benefit that does not exist. If I acted entitled regarding a free service then I would see your point but I anticipate receiving what I pay for when it is so prominently listed on the paid membership page and no indication is given that the chat has been down for months until after you’ve already signed up.

Let me try this again. From your VERY FIRST post, you don’t sound like a person that I would want to live chat with. You see, if you want to live chat with yourself, all you need is a mirror. But if you want to live chat with another human being, then you might want to act like the type of human being that other people would want to talk to. I care that the live chat is a feature of paid membership, prominently advertised as a feature, and has been down for several months. It’s false advertising. If wanting what was advertised when I pay for it is offensive to you, I can’t help you.

It’s very easy to make a change in the list of features of paid membership to make clear that chat is currently down, and has been down for 3 months. That would ensure that people are not misled regarding the benefits they will receive if they pay. Some talk has been made about first impressions and indeed the site has made multiple bad impressions on me, first by having an outdated benefits list for paid membership and then by the constant personal insults I’ve received in this thread despite having a completely reasonable issue. I don’t know what you’re expecting from your continued participation in this conversation as I am not going to take the bait and resort to insults. It’s honestly not worth my time, and I respectfully suggest you make insulting others not worth your time as well.

Given that new members are asked to post an introduction to existing membership Prior to posting threads to help place those threads in context, this is certainly the strangest intro I’ve read.

Sounds more like the conversation I would over hear in the checkout line regarding a sale item not being available.
