    holy crap!

i’m pleasently surprised at how this thread resonated with so many of you and there are so many great responses!

MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.

@sidecar: True, but you know how greedy and brainwashed they are. One would totally lose her s~~~ over a pawn shop engagement ring too. I can understand a simple gold wedding band for these married fools, but engagement ring, wedding, and honeymoon extravaganza can easily add up to nearly the price of a modest home. F~~~ that s~~~.

I once had a friend who got married with a $99 dollar engagement ring. She was so ugly and fat it was like someone had thrown 5 gallons of ice water on me the first time I met her. They lasted about 6 years.

I bought a diamond in about… 1987. Spent all the available cash I had – maybe $6,000. Which was a s~~~load of money to me then.

    Got married in 1990.

Got divorce raped in 2011 when she decided licking another woman’s pussy was her path to self actualization.

I got the ring back in the settlement.

Almost 30 years later I sold it for $3,000.

I have had so much more fun with that $3,000 than I ever did with the $6,000.

    Go figure.

Invested in S&P500, that $6k would be worth almost $50k after 30 years.

Really glad you got to finally enjoy a piece of your cash though!

Which is why you’re better off dumping that bitch and buying the modest home instead. Once word gets out you own your own home free and clear, women will start lining up. Always f~~~ them at their places, never yours. You want to keep that home.

“WeddingWire made public today the findings of its 2015 Newlywed Report, an analysis of 6,000 couples, including same-sex marriages. First off, they found that the average engagement ring costs $4,758.”

“wedding cost in the United States is $26,645. This does not include cost for a honeymoon.”

“Various sources peg the average cost of a honeymoon at between $4,000 and $5,000”

So, an average wedding and honeymoon in 2016 costs around $36,000.

In comparison, MSRP for 2017 Ford Mustang lists From $24,645.

You could either spring for a wedding or a new Ford Mustang and around $10,000 cash left over. Really tough call.

Even better. Seems many malls(where you often find jewellery stores) are dying off.

No longer do you see new builds of mega malls anymore either. It is likely that only well established malls are going to survive in the future.

No more “mall madness” for you, t~~~s.

Your right, All you have to do is walk by them and see how empty they are with the half off or closing down signs as little miss princess is not getting anything from them. They want me to pay what three months of my monthly yearly salary for some stupid ring. F~~~ THAT. We MGTOW would rather put that money to better use like, paying for bills, our hobbies, vacations and putting it in the bank.

Us men didn't start the battle of the sexes, but we're clearly going to win it via the simple tactic of just leaving the battlefield in contempt."
