Have I talked about diamonds yet? I think I have, but it’s funny anyways.

For professional reasons, I’ve had to learn a f~~~load more about diamonds than I ever wanted to. Enough that I honestly consider putting them into jewelry a waste of a useful stone. It would be more irritating if they weren’t actually as common as dirt.

Along the way I’ve also learned a lot of useless stuff about diamond gemstones, crap like clarity, cut, “fire”, “arrows”, and whatnot such that I can fairly easily identify which stones in a shop are junk and which are actually worthwhile. Spoiler: most of them are junk, but shops are quite adept at hiding that with clever display lighting.

Occasionally when I’m with a woman and find myself near a jewelry store (there’s one in the local giant grocery store – go figure) I’ll wander over to check out the diamonds and see if I can sort out the good from the bad, looking for any particular swindles I might find. There are never any good values, because it’s all worthless, but there are always a lot of swindles.

In short order I separate out the dross until I suss out the highest quality stones in the shop, all the while the woman I’m with and the store clerk (always female as well) are getting ever more excited. Then, after I’ve determined the best diamond in the shop (which is rarely the most expensive and never the largest), I’ll say: “Of course it’s all trash. Completely worthless. Just over marketed garbage for the gullible.” I thank the shopkeep for her time, and go on my way, leaving two crushed dreams behind me.

If I hear any complaints about my little game I have the perfect answer too: “Diamonds are literally as common as dirt. They’re only expensive because the sleazy DeBeers cartel maintains a monopoly and advertises the f~~~ out of them. And thanks to those artificially inflated prices, black children are enslaved to work in diamond mines in Africa. Every single one of those stones, whether mined in Africa or not, represents the blood of a stolen child. If you think I’m going to pay to support sickening s~~~ like that you are sadly f~~~ing mistaken. The only way to save those kids is by crashing the diamond market by refusing to pay for their overpriced crap.”

    Shuts them up quick.

Just buy the jewellery used If you want it for yourself. I don’t even pay anywhere near the retail price that these stores like to price.

Actions have consequences and consequences have prices. Cause and effect at work.

I don’t see how these jewelry stores are going out of business. There’s a lot of independent womenfeminists piercing every square inch of their face and other parts of their body out of rebellion. You never see these women buying diamonds for their body art even though they say diamonds are a girl’s best friend. Apparently this is only true when a MAN is the one picking up the tab.

Jewelry stores & the diamond industry don’t make their big dollars selling $50 belly button rings and nose piercings. They make it off the ridiculous markups on diamond jewelry.

Wedding ring diamonds are an utter and complete scam. Worth maybe $0.10 on the dollar after the store return period expires. People say that car salesmen are shady, but at least once you drive the car off the lot, then change your mind a month later, you can still resell the car for 90% of what you paid. At least the gold in the ring is still worth scrap value.

They spam TV ads and prey on women’s stupidity and men’s gullibility during most major holiday. It’s sickening to see. That money should be saved or spent on a downpayment for a mortgage, providing real value to the couple’s future. Of course women, being women, are superficial and don’t care about any of that. They only care about extracting what they can from the man and impressing their female friends with their success.

Its not like we saw this coming. It showing that MGTOW is starting to have an effect as well as the drop in marriages. I think by the end of 2016 the percentage will be higher. Plus I think were going to see a lot more women getting really desperate in the next few years, as there not getting married, as I heard a mother asking why her daughter, why isn’t she married yet. When I was your age I was all ready married and had two kids. The daughter looked to be in her late 20s or close to her 30s. I over heard this when I eating my lunch in a mall food court. It was kind of funny to listen to as all she could say to her mom was I cant find a BF.

Us men didn't start the battle of the sexes, but we're clearly going to win it via the simple tactic of just leaving the battlefield in contempt."

Buy her COAL and tell her to sit on it a really really really long long time!

Given the size of today’s average woman, that should take all of 2 hours max.

Wow! Steve choked slammed that question. He usually does not impress me like that.

If a woman really cared about her man, she’d go with him to the pawn shop and negotiate for a pre-owned diamond. She gets a bigger rock to brag about to her friends, and her man gets a lower bill. Win, win.

It’s not like a used diamond has any wear and tear on it unless Tower has been using it.

And then tell her if she continues to sit on the diamond it will hatch into a unicorn with a Chad on the back….

Aww little princess fell off the carousel:( Ironic thing is her mom can’t figure it out, yet a big part of the reason men of my generation want less to do with marriage than prior generations is we all got to watch our fathers and uncles get massacred in divorce at a record rate.

If a woman REALLY cared about “her” man, she wouldn’t give a f~~~ about any diamonds in the first place. Because she wouldn’t want to inflict marriage on him.

Exactly. And I would have walked right over and told them that: “Laydeez, you can’t find a man because you are not worth the risk of divorce. It’s that simple. Maybe you should do something about that.”

Either we watched them get raped by divorce courts, or we saw them do everything they could to stay with their wife, and be absolutely miserable beyond belief. Either way, we want nothing to do with marriage.

Or she would opt for a CZ, which is more perfect than a naturally occurring diamond and much much cheaper.

The reason women do not want CZ despite the obvious advantages is because marriage is about how much $$$$ pain you can inflict on a man (dowry) and showing it to the world, not about getting good value for the couple as a whole.

    Speaking of pearl necklaces….

A fisherman caught and kept this pearl under his bed for 10 years.
    It’s worth $100 million.

    ….. but not really.
It’s only worth what some moron is willing to pay for it.

If a woman could, she would tie it around her neck and wear it to the Opera.

Why does a man wear a wedding ring?

It’s a symbol of my commitment to her

Why does a woman wear a wedding ring?

It’s a symbol of his commitment to me.

I have no doubt that that’s true. I don’t know the stats, but a large number of men buy they’re own ring, and barely care what it looks like. Because it doesn’t need to come from her or look like anything for it to mean something. No man wears a ring as reflection of how much his wife, or anyone cares about him.

Women NEVER buy their own ring. How can it symbolize his commitment to her if she bought it herself? It also must be a reflection of worth, otherwise people will believe that he is not that committed to her.

    Ok. Then do it.

I bought a diamond in about… 1987. Spent all the available cash I had – maybe $6,000. Which was a s~~~load of money to me then.

    Got married in 1990.

Got divorce raped in 2011 when she decided licking another woman’s pussy was her path to self actualization.

I got the ring back in the settlement.

Almost 30 years later I sold it for $3,000.

I have had so much more fun with that $3,000 than I ever did with the $6,000.

    Go figure.

great point! you never see women buying rings for their man or for themselves!!! that’s b/c they are not committed to the man. Their love is often times superficial.

Now I want to know what this woman does to my mgtow dr. Pal. She gives him head while giving a prostate massage.
Never had the pleasure of that.

Go for the rusty trombone first. You stand, she is behind licking your ass while giving a reach around.

When you find yourself in the majority, it's time to reflect.
