In the US, jewellery-store closings were up 11 per cent in 2015. This is partly due to the fact that the US marriage rate fell 16 per cent between 2000 and 2014. Men are no longer buying engagement rings and wedding rings for their intended, because they have no intended – they are not getting married.

Much ink has been split over why millennials are not getting married, but surely this is great news for feminists. We know that feminists view marriage as a patriarchal prison so one assumes the fewer people getting married the better. Not that women are too happy about this prospect considering all the articles bemoaning the lack of marriageable men – but sure when did feminists ever care about what women want? They don’t, so expect the celebrations to be big.

I was never into jewelry. I like to buy stuff that has some practical use. MGTOW is going to put the engagement/wedding ring makers out of business! Not only that—these foul-mouthed “butch” women with crew cuts, facial piercings, and gaudy tattoos are doing their part to keep men from thinking about getting married.

I don’t care what women want, but I made a vow to myself that in the event I was forced into marriage, at least I’d never marry anyone over the age of 20. So all these current women past that age can go f~~~ themselves.

Funny thing about 19 year old women, they are nowhere near as materialistic either. That s~~~ gets drummed into women’s heads the older they get, and amazingly the lower their value is.

I don’t see how these jewelry stores are going out of business. There’s a lot of independent womenfeminists piercing every square inch of their face and other parts of their body out of rebellion. You never see these women buying diamonds for their body art even though they say diamonds are a girl’s best friend. Apparently this is only true when a MAN is the one picking up the tab.

I know one of these “high earning women”. They are conflicted as what to do. Their nature itself becomes confused. The hypergamy in them wants to find a millionaire man, so they can have even more. However the controlling aspect to their nature also makes them think about how easy it would be to dominate a man who makes only a third what they do.

A girl I knew from back in high school who recently started her career in emergency medicine. When we met up I had to inform her my life went nowhere, while hers took off like a space rocket. At first I thought she was being really sweet because she offered to buy me all kinds of gifts for free. At the same time I noticed she was getting more controlling by the day. I declined everything she offered, and she would act like I was being ungrateful.

I was just trying to save the little pride I have left by declining her gifts, but it made her feel angry at me. It’s now two years after the fact, and she married down. I believe she was looking for a guy below her pay grade, someone she would have strict control over, and keep him dependent on her for everything. It’s true I am still barely scraping by while she lives in a big house and drives luxury cars. I just can’t iamgine being under someones demanding thumb for the rest of my life though.
