Congratulations Jeff, welcome to the club. You just got half your s~~~ back!

Of course at his net worth it doesn’t really matter. But it will be interesting to see if she really gets half of the net worth. As far as gold diggers go, she just hit the biggest deposit ever found in the history of mankind.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I think I just found the next Mrs. TaxGuy. Because I like my women the same as I like my Chinese food cookie, with a fortune!!

Anyway communication, real open communication, is not wanted or even required in a relationship. Women cannot handle fully open and honest communication, plus most perceive it as a weakness on the part of a man. All that is required is catering to her whims, and even then nothing is certain. There is no way to be sure of having a successful relationshit with a woman. MGTaoist

I have mixed feelings about this.

I have a significant dislike of that bald-headed m#*$*f*#$er, but at the same time I find it distasteful for just about any dude about to be fleeced by the divorce industry and females.

Divorce hurts the not-well off the most, because the rich dudes can afford good lawyers, good legal advice and not worry about ending up in the poorhouse from a divorce.

That is the path that every man will follow, right after their marriages or the marriage of people close to him crash and burn down.

The previous largest divorce settlement was about $2.5 billion. I wonder how far she’ll crush that by.

By the way, if you date her do you think she comes with free Amazon Prime?

A possibility is Amazon stock will take a dump before the divorce, and go up again after the divorce is final.

    Meh
Lifestyles of the “rich and famous”.
I find it ironic how divorce is a public affair and more akin to a game show than a personal legal matter.
As Ranger One said, divorce rape hurts the poor/lower/middle class men more than the supposed ‘upper” classes.

Always found it odd when mega wealthy guys get married. What’s the point. It’s not like you can’t have all the things you want when you’re that rich and don’t marry.

The mere fact that people are saying that she won’t get control of Amazon irks the f~~~ out of me.

There should be NO QUESTION that simply divorcing her husband, who has been the HNIC of that company from day one, shouldn’t make her a billionaire, let alone bestow upon her the reins of one of these most successful entrepreneurial ventures in human history. But in our absurd post-suffrage world, it’s actually ponderable. Dafuq??

Your talking about a world where over a decade after a divorcer, you see a lawsuit from an ex-wife suing her ex-husband to get a piece of his post-divorce success.

Your talking about a world where you can read about someone doing bath-salts and trying to eat off someone’s face.

It will be interesting to see if this has any impact on Amazon, since they’ve been married since 1993. I’ve heard of small businesses getting f~~~ed over during divorce when the husband has to buy the wife out even though she did jack s~~~ for the company, or the wife is entitled to half a company and wrecks it…it should be interesting to see how much the same will apply to a mega company with a billionaire owner.

What is not being talked about is if the divorce goes through with half the assets being split, the ex-wife will likely divest herself of Amazon stock, with the likely given reason being JB still runs Amazon (no one is going to trust their wealth with the person they just divorced).

We are talking hundreds of billions in stocks being sold at once. This could show a liquidity trap (not enough money to cover the stocks, usually for debts but also for selling stocks) for the tech stock bubble. If a liquidity trap is shown, that could create a massive sell off across the board for tech stocks, popping the entire tech bubble.

The whole censorship agenda by the tech companies go sideways at the companies try to stop the hemorrhaging of stock value.

According to this Forbes article, Jeff Bezos is worth $136.2 billion. You would think that a woman would stay married to the richest man in the world, right? Look at the way the dude lived his life: studied computer science at Princeton University, worked for an investment firm (D.E. Shaw), and started Amazon.com. I’m sure many women would be standing in line to marry a smart, college-educated, well-groomed, mega-rich man like Jeff. And he probably going to make more money in the future.

This will probably be the most expensive divorce in human history. I don’t know what this couple is going through, but I suppose MacKenzie (the wife) was bored because she didn’t get enough ATTENTION from Jeff—who probably works 15 hours a day to put a roof over her head and provide for his kids.

Think about this, gentlemen: if the richest man in the world has problems with his marriage, how are we (the rest of us) supposed to compete with him when most women are hypergamous and not easily pleased? I mean, $136,200,000,000 should give me enough social value & gossip material for a woman to stay married to me for life. That’s how I see it. And my wife wouldn’t have to cook and clean. We’d hire a maid/cook. All she’d have to do is not be a bitch and give me access to her sexy body. Is that a fair deal or what? Now compare that to women in Afghanistan getting flogged by the Taliban for leaving their husbands. And the average salary in that country is $570 a year. But American women keep telling us they are oppressed!

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

Wouldn’t it be crazy if the stock market bubble burst because of a divorce? Literally just one person starting a selloff that wiped the NASDAQ off the map…
