Which reminds me of a particular story involving a woman out in the field…………………………….

Your story is a good example of what happens when woman impose themselves into Man’s Country.

Feminine women in the Trades are dead weight and men become retarded when those gals are attractive.
Those whores are usually promoted to management or office duties which creates another set of problems.
The Bull Dykes who attempt to work in the Trades may have some measure of physical prowess or skills, but they cause more trouble than they are worth.

As far as hobbies and other fun stuff………………………………..

MGTOWs have the best hobbies and other fun stuff. I enjoy doing similar stuff with my freedom.

If anyone would happen to have further tips on how one can keep women away from themselves, and if necessary, how to deal with them when it cannot be avoided, I would greatly appreciate it.

It is important for me to keep in mind why I am MGTOW.

Here is a link that attempts to discuss the reasons:

    /forums/topic/free-from-the-influences-of-women/

Admittedly, those reasons disappear from my consciousness whenever I am around a healthy athletic women in her early twenties.
The following link gives an example in nature of the consequences and process of what happens to me whenever I am around such a woman:

    /forums/topic/parasitic-jeweled-wasp/

Here is another attempt to start a discussion about using Twelve Step Recovery concepts to address the problem:

    /forums/topic/naming-a-vagina-sobriety-twelve-step-group/

There was a fascinating Thread last year that addressed how to stay MGTOW and reduce your SMV (Sexual Market Value). I remember laughing so hard at the replies that I peed myself.

Here is what I can remember:

    Dress like a homeless man.

Don’t Bath (how can you be strong, if you don’t smell strong?).

Tell them you live in your mother’s basement.

    Tell them you are unemployed.

Tell them you have STDs (This one is a two edged sword: It could back fire socially and you will attract the women with STDs).

Tell them about the voices in your head or your encounter with extraterrestrials.

The advice above may have been written as replies in someone’s first Introduction.

Alas, some of the best MGTOW advice is buried in newcomers’ Introductions and I cannot remember whose it was that addressed your concerns.

You can get access to your favorite MGTOW’s writings by going to their Profile page and clicking onto their Forums tab. Every post we write in is listed there.

………I also happen to enjoy listening as well as playing music. I was classically trained as a child…………

    Me Too.

Mostly wood winds with some percussion for me.

Last month, I sat in with some Old Time musicians who came up to play at the Irish Milwaukee Fest from California. I enjoyed playing music with them so much that I dropped my Irish commitments.

Whenever I travel the USA, I have enjoyed playing for the English Country Dances, Contras, and Irish Ceili.

Here is YouTube link to some Playford Tunes that I enjoy:

Thank you very much for the links provided. I enjoyed reading them. The video about the jeweled wasp especially was interesting. I couldn’t help but constantly compare it to that of what women do along with others who have watched it as well.

Indeed, especially now, there is so much more to be gained from not being with women; more time, more energy, and more money. Far more freedom to do which you please to do. To be able to decide to acquire another skill, or even switch which job you want to pursue is truly a liberating experience for myself. I personally have not been involved with women at all for a few years now. No dating, no flings, nothing. Initially, it was a little rough at first, like suffering a withdrawal from an addiction(well, women ARE a form of addiction right there…), but as time went on, it became easier and easier. However, definitely do not want to get too comfortable or c~~~y in that I can stay sober of pussy; I have seen and heard many people relapse to their addictions when they got too comfortable and dropped their guard.

I definitely laughed at some of the suggestions for a man keeping his SMV down. I can see those definitely working out well. I especially liked these in particular for comedic value as well as advice:

    Dress like a homeless man.

Tell them you live in your mother’s basement.

    Tell them you are unemployed.

Tell them about the voices in your head or your encounter with extraterrestrials.

I’ll be sure to browse some of the newcomer introductions, as well as further writings for further advice as needed. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I really like the music linked in the youtube video you shared. It reminds me back when I would play not only in plays in which similar if not exactly the same type of music was called for, but also back when I would play this brand of music for fun. After all, had I ended up staying in only what “academic” musicians called required repertoire, I would of likely lost my mind early on.

I am curious however, if you do not mind me asking, which woodwind and percussion instruments did you particular use or simply enjoyed the most?

    Hi Absumo –

Thank you for sharing your story. It takes a lot to reflect on a past experience, but I do believe there is a type of catharsis in doing so with people who may understand what you are going through. This is an amazing community of individuals who are striving to undoubtedly change their own lives for the better, and please explore these threads and the content as much as possible.

I would highly recommend watching some Sandman clips on YouTube which discuss the proclivities of female nature. There is some eye-opening content on here that will elevate your mind and generate more wisdom for you. Just know that we support you and there is always help available.

    Welcome.

Thank you Jkeane for the warm welcome. It does indeed help to share what you have gone through with those who understand and may have even experienced something very similar as well. I will also check out some of the youtube clips of Sandman as you suggested as well.

…………..which woodwind and percussion instruments did you particular use or simply enjoyed the most?

I have a few favorite Instruments and which one I choose depends on the situation that comes up.

Now most of the music I play is by ear and I seldom look at sheet music anymore. What happens when accessing the creative part of the brain is hard to explain and sounds crazy to normal folks. It is quite spiritual and timeless.

Like my Grandfathers from the West Coast of Ireland, the Irish Penny Whistle is what I take while I am in Nature, especially on my long hikes through forested Trails.

The hills and forests have been a source of strength and always help me to recharge my spiritual batteries.

The birdies, forest creatures, frogs, and fish in the ponds respond well to my playing.

There is actually a lot more that goes on when I play in older forests. There is a connection that occurs between all of the living things in the forests. The phenomenon was described by my ancient ancestors as the “Fairy Faith.”

The following link has some examples of the tunes I play for the birdies. Paddy Carty is related to my mother’s people and his CD, “Traditional Irish Music,” is one of my favorites:

    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoP7Iv4IRu9cv2RB_RALuIw/videos

When large numbers of people gather, especially when they are doing the Old Time social dances, I like to play my Tenor Saxophone. There is a connection between musicians and dancers that is a form of resonance.

The following YouTube video is a nice example of this resonance. Yes, it is a string band playing. But, I have done the same thing playing the same music with my Sax and the accompaniment of Piano, guitar, and drum:

When there are a lot of lead players, I will join the dancers or play a frame drum know as a Bodhran.

It is quite impressive to be able to play by ear while rarely, if ever, resorting to sheet music. If I understand what you’re saying correctly, would it be possible to say that when accessing the creative part of your brain, with music(although this could be possible involving anything with the creative process), it is to the point where it is instinctual? Perhaps to the point where it would be like a reflex, like riding a bike(perhaps not the best example, something along those lines that isn’t quite as…basic). Forgive me if I sound like the ramblings of a failed psychoanalyst; when it comes to information, it gets to the point where I want to understand perspectives as well as possible. I am curious if I’m mostly hit the mark, or completely missed it.

This is the first time I have heard of this phenomenon. It does indeed seem rather fascinating. I’ll be looking more into this to see what other info there is of it.

In response to both of the links on your post, I found it quite lovely. Thank you for sharing. Also, Tenor Saxophone is an unique choice for the kind of music you play with it. It is interesting to see many instruments being arranged to play in different genres of music or was a piece originally calling for different instruments. Speaking from my personal experience, there were times I had to end up arranging pieces that, for example, originally were played with Clarinet or Oboe, and make it work with a Violin.

The Old Time music of our Grandfathers was simple and user friendly, like riding a bicycle. So, more people could benefit from it.
Playing the unpretentious music of our ancestors enables the musician and participant to access the creative parts of the brain more straightforwardly.
Narcissism, Big egos, complication and overthinking are the Great Enemy of this process.

The following YouTube video is a fine example of the user friendly Old Time culture. It is an important part of our history which is now off the radar:

In my forties, I could play from memory for a minimum of three hours without repeating the same tune.
The sad thing is that those abilities are lost to modern man.
And those abilities are just average for a man who has grown up playing Old Time music.

Furthermore, it was also possible to read a book a day while I was playing the music of my ancestors.

The memory capacity of a mind which uses both hemispheres of the brain is unbelievable to modern folks.
That is because there are some very bad things that have been happening to Western culture.
Since the American Civil War, Western man has been made pusillanimous, retarded, and uncreative compared to his Grandfathers.

Here is a link to a post which makes incredible claims for modern times. It exposes one of the modern “freedoms” which makes Western Man pusillanimous:

    /forums/topic/the-power-of-celibacy/

This is the first time I have heard of this phenomenon……….

Take your violin to a forested area with good acoustics where there is some echo of your playing. Play something from memory and see what happens.

Something similar occurs when I have played during church services. In Christianity, it is referred to as being “filled with the Spirit.”

……..Tenor Saxophone is an unique choice for the kind of music you play with it.

Since the introduction of amplification, that is true.

Before that, orchestral instruments were used for larger gatherings of people participating in Old Time Music, Dance, and singing.

It is interesting how that has been erased from our history.

The use of Horns and drums when our people gather goes back as far as the Bronze Age:

This is quite interesting. I also enjoyed the music found in the video you posted. I definitely get how it is more user friendly. However, it does not detract from the music at all. Good music is not defined by how easy or hard it is to play(really a shame many academic musicians fail to understand this).

In my forties, I could play from memory for a minimum of three hours without repeating the same tune….

Indeed, it would seem a lot of abilities a man would have is lost nowadays. I do recall in the past reading similar articles regarding masturbation and/or otherwise sex did indeed made men far weaker. It would seem it can also negatively affect other aspects aside from strength; as pointed out in the link. Celibacy, whether it is by religious motivations or not, seems to definitely improve overall health in men.

Curiously, I wonder if women at all get anywhere near the same benefit men do from being celibate? Perhaps it is the exact opposite for them? In the end, what is best for women does not matter; they can be left to attempt that themselves, if they can.

Take your violin to a forested area with good acoustics where there is some echo of your playing. Play something from memory and see what happens….

I’m definitely going to try this out this weekend. I have some free time coming up, and wanted to go for a walk up in the mountains. I’ll just bring my violin, find a nice forested area, and play something. I’ll let you know how it goes.

I found the prehistoric instruments from the link intriguing. I ended up learning even more about ancient Ireland culture as well as music. Thanks again for sharing more information. I enjoyed it.
