I don’t think the allies would have won:

Gotta’ laugh at the way these guys make a subtle point with comedy. 🙂

My question to these judgmental geezers is. If your generation was so “great” why did your children turn out to be so bad?

Well, In all seriousness, They fought a brutal war, got home and wanted a better life as reward. The whole country rejected Churchill and the Conservatives in the next election and voted in a Labour government instead. The main platform of the Labour party was to introduce a welfare state, which they did. The country couldn’t afford it then as now, and had to go begging to America for Marshall plan money to fund it.

The welfare state introduced the idea that people had a “Right” to be supported on the taxpayer’s dime. Eventually the list of available Benefits covered all areas of life and lifestyle choice. People no longer needed to be self reliant, or in the case of women, needed to have a father around to help bring up a child.

The country became slack, dependent and immoral.

The current generation have been brought up in this false reality and many expect everything to be provided to them for free. One has to ask, was this an accidental outcome of a well intentioned policy, or was it deliberate debasement of a Nation’s work ethic, Morality and Pride?

I could go on, but would rather just laugh at the comedy.

Two generations of social marxist programming in the schools. We’ve allowed the public educational system to get twisted into a bizarre indoctrinating force for cowardice.

On the plus side, things do seem to be coming to a boil in the West. I give it ten years, give or take, before open civil war. I’m looking forward to it, frankly.

Something like that has to happen before things change.

Sadly, Britain is currently going the way of Colonial Jamestown in the Virginia Colony. Hope you guys find your Captain John Smith before it’s too late. If you aren’t familiar with the reference, it’s worth a read.

I don’t believe in female magic anymore. And will never again gut myself to make room for it. --Narwhal--
