Now *I* have to rant on these. I actually saw a picture yesterday that said “42% of females own a game system while 37% of males do.” It was basically saying “why should our games cater to men who are in the minority of game owners?”

Whatever happened to that wage gap? How in the world are they affording games and game systems that even I can barely afford!?

There’s one girl that I know that is the girlfriend of a independent-owned arcade (a ghetto one, but that’s beside the point). When I had her on Facebook, she’d always try to say how “nerdy” she was…to the point that she made her own Twitch account so guys could watch her “play games.” One of the pictures she uses to advertise herself…this is no joke:

Well, it is like that everywhere.
They can’t see men getting together and enjoying something that it is not about them.

It is quite annoying since they bail out on the first excuse and are not reliable to do anything.

Gamer girls are the same phenomena as the boys only tree house.

Guys pull away, do their own thing, after a while girls show up and demand to be included with the nearest authority figure. Once they get in they make it all about them, and demand the rules of the game are changed to benefit them. Guys pull away, and go do sosomething else…. Rinse and repeat.

Gaming is just next on the list.

Is this statistic based on solid data? Or is it something some SJW made up to get leverage over men? I can say this: Game creators will make games that sell, and they will not make games that do not sell. “Nuff said.

Funny you should mention that.. what I’ve learned is that the less attention you pay them, the more curious they get. Do it long enough and they start to realize something is wrong with them. Of course you have the occasional shaming tactic put to use, but that quickly get’s shut down if you know how to handle it. Point is, don’t get too strung-up about the whole ordeal… just stay cognoscente of the fukery and games played and you won’t fall victim..

I lost any care whatsoever for her when I realized that 1) she was taken and portraying herself even in the ARCADE HER BOYFRIEND OWNS (that she “works” at, by the way), 2) when I DID talk to her (this was a WHILE back), she learned about my abusive exs and she asked “what did you do to make her do that?” …The magic words for me to want to shove you away. 3) Guess what else? She also has a kid. Surprise, surprise! How many times did I see her mention she HAD this kid on her Facebook? Zero! The only reason I knew was she had maybe 3 pictures of her from years ago. Methinks people knowing she has a kid would lower her value a bit.

Women have zero interests, so by default they mock men for whatever interest they do have.

But eventually the mocking ceases to work, as the men are generally not forced into situations with these women anymore (school, parent’s house, etc.). So when that happens, or when for whatever other reason men can not just be shamed away, women then seek to invade, destroy whatever it is, and then move on, like a swarm of locusts. The treehouse example listed above is also apt.

Maybe there was a time in history when women took a genuine interest in men and men’s interests. I just know I’ve never seen it in my lifetime. Throughout my life all I’ve ever seen women do is attack men at every opportunity, and thirsty male simps just keep crawling on the ground kissing women’s feet for it, begging to be allowed to move up and kiss ass.

so so true. I can’t remember who posted it or on what thread but someone put up a list from 1-10 explaining this very thing and at the end it ends up like you say with women ruining it for everyone so the blokes go off and find something else. It’s a shame femis have targeted games as I love them and they are about to go to s~~~ helped along by the manginas in the gaming media

I actually know 2 of them and they are quite good players as well as hard workers.
But yes, most are childish attention whores.

When I was younger, oh, so long ago, I kept looking for a chick who played D&D. AD&D version one, to be precise. But it was just called D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) back then.

I never found one. I dated one briefly who supposedly was into it, but she never wanted to play.

I recall, ironically, when ‘gamers’ referred to people playing role playing games. *laughing* Oh, my.

I currently look at cool gamer girls, video or RPG or whatnot, as a NAGALT-type category: Not All Grenades Are Like That.

There is no such thing as a ‘gamer girl’. Games are just social platforms, like Facebook for them to hang out with each other. And since women are the worst to complain, the games gets dumbed down to suit the females. The current MMO I have been playing for a couple of years has had this dumbing down, and since I’ve swapped to Fallout 4 (a singleplayer game), I don’t have to deal with these retards. The worst was when the guild leader was ditched by his GF, and had to go, so I was appointed GM (I didn’t care much for it at the time). It was to me a temporary solution, so I expected him to show up. He did show up eventually, but then he introduced with his new GF in the guild. She played with him for a couple of hours and I never saw her again. When I pre-downloaded Fallout 4, I ranked him as GM, and sent him a PM that he’s the boss. So, due to a woman, a mans games will get ruined. And these c~~~s complain when a game doesn’t cater to them… How about making your own frigging game(s), and not jump into bed with those reviewing your game, like Zoe Quinn did (#GAmerGate)? It’s pathetic.

You are asking too much from women, I think we can all agree that very few women out there get anything done, much less invent something.

There is hope thou, that feminism will so obviously destroy everything it touches that eventually women will wake up to it (some are doing it already).

Gamer girls is just another way of saying “pay me attention”.
I never even thought of making a distinction between gamers before i read the term.
Do we have Black gamers? Or Asian gamers? (Ok that one we have cus they f~~~ing own :D, but you get my point).

When a girl says I am a gamer my eyes roll. I dont go around saying I am a gamer ( even thou Im probably dangerously close to be a full addict ), I just say I like games.

I can tell every mission in my favorite game, name every item in diablo 2 (the uniques at least), I know their value and I even know how negotiations go in that game (and thats not even my final…. I mean, its not even my favorite game).

So… when a girl says she is a gamer, its hard not to call her on her BS, but trust me, dont get rolled into that trap.
