Cats aside, Old Sage has raised a damn good point. Eyes Wide Open, this tragedy has affected you greatly to the point it has become your identity. The gravity of the situation exceeds anything we can do in these forums, aside from offering support.

Wow…what a goddamn trainwreck. I’m just gonna jump in and offer my $0.02 in case it helps anyone.

We all have bad days. I am no exception. I’ve struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts my whole life, literally since i was a child. Maybe it has something to do with being raised by one abusive parent and another who was never home and didn’t give a f~~~.

But the truth is, none of that is important. I have STILL done pretty much everything i ever wanted to do in life. It NEVER stopped me or held me back. I’m not saying it was easy. But i set goals for myself, and then i went out and accomplished my goals. I wasn’t always happy, and at times i struggled…but in the end, i won every single time. I am the biggest winner in the world. Every day of my life is a victory for me.

What you need are some goals for yourself. For me, my number one goal is survival. I made up my mind a long time ago that i was going to survive. When i wake up every morning, no matter what i have to do that day, my goal is to do whatever i have to do, and then come home, ALIVE. My resolve is ironclad and absolute.

My long term goal is to retire in my 40’s or early 50’s. Every day i am going out, making money, and making financial progress towards that goal. When i am not working, i have other goals. I am working on becoming a man…or rather, the man i want to be. And going my own way in life, because that is the only way that works for me.

So again, every day is a victory for me. It doesn’t matter if i am happy or miserable. The only thing that matters is that i REFUSE to be broken, or beaten. The thing is, it’s your life, and you only get one. If you’re just going to give up on it and not even try to do something with it, you might as well just crawl off and f~~~ing die somewhere. You’d actually be better off.

But if you don’t want to die, then LIVE! Because thats the only alternative. Don’t just sit around feeling sorry for yourself, and don’t think that any female can fix your life for you. The only thing they will do is f~~~ it up even worse. Ask anyone here. That is literally ALL THEY DO. While you’re at it, take some time to get to know these men. You think you have it bad? Listen to their stories. STOP complaining, STOP bitching, and just LISTEN.

So basically the choice is yours. If you want to live your life, then do it, and make it whatever you want it to be. No one else can do that for you. And if you want to die, then die. But where you are at now is somewhere in the middle. You are alive, but not getting any benefits from living. Those are the only two choices you have. Choose one, and fully commit yourself. You can either die a pathetic loser, or you can live as a new man. The choice is yours.
