Anonymous3And yea, most people in real life are draining… Over the years I have trimmed down my personal contacts to just a handful of reliable, intelligent, non-lecherous friends.
This is how it works
there are such things as emotional Vampires.
The problem your expierincing is the result of people around you having no problem with their own behavior and really , how would they if no one says anything.you more so than them have an issue with it.
That is true. A lot of people have no self awareness.
Its my opinion that people are interested in other people for very simple reasons.Someone(you) has something they dont, something they want or has the traits nescesarry to get it for them and they butter you up to make it happen or take advantage of your kindness. .
So basically they only care about what you can do for them. I’m not sure everyone is like that but many are.
It’s not just the people, it’s the times. Things are so much s~~~tier than they were in the 90’s. It wears everyone down and the only thing most people know how to do is bitch about it. You need to find people that actually DO something about things rather than just bitch. Actions speak louder than words.
That is what I have wondered. Am I just running into more bitter people as I get older, or were times better back then? Economically I know a lot of people that were better off then. If it all went downhill after the 90s, that’s about the time that high speed internet use started to become widespread. Coincidence?
