I had bad diarrorea for 2 months one time while overseas due to some type of stomach bug I had picked up. The conventional doctors pharmaceuticals meds were not getting rid of it. When I was back in Europe I went to a qualified experienced Ayurvedic doctor and it cleared up in less than 2 weeks with the herbal / stomach health treatments he prescribed. 20 to 30 pills at one sitting. Can’t remember the exact number. They stopped my antibiotics a few days before administering the pills. It took about 48 hours for the stuff to work its way through. Then it was a month or so of “bacteria wars” in my gut as the healthy bacteria ate the left over bad and set up camp. After 3 months I was normal. I am eating a s~~~-ton (<-pun) more veggies and less highly processed foods. I try to avoid too much sugar. So far its kept the bowel monster pacified. Worth asking your doctor. Seems that people with UC can also benefit.
