Hi. I am not sure where to put this post so I put it here. I do not really talk much about this type of stuff because I don’t really involve myself in the community that speaks of this stuff. But here goes. When I was a kid around 8 I used to sneak into the basement of my family’s house to watch television at midnight. I was in the basement about to walk upstairs but when I got to the stairwell I saw something so incredibly terrifying I couldn’t stop screaming for 3 minutes straight. It was humanoid like 8 feet tall all white with a white aura around it. Needless to say my parents caught me for watching TV but I didn’t care. It took a few hours for me to fully recover. Over the course of my life I have seen this thing about 12 times. Each time I have been so utterly terrified I couldn’t stop screaming. A few nights ago when I was up doing some late night work I was sitting down on my chair typing I had this overwhelming feeling of dread and turned around and saw this thing. I have never been so terrified in my life. So I guess the question is what is it and what does it want? Also why is it here?

I have had similar experiences once I swollowed the red pill and saw things as they really are.

That’s cool. I’m interetsed in that sort of thing. I’m more familiar with the 20mm GAU-4 ‘Vulcan’. You should check out YouTube to find videos of the gun actually firing. They sound completely different in real life than they do in the movies.

Reference your ‘demon’,I was just pulling your p~~~er. You are just hallucinating. I did a spiel on hallucinations on an earlier thread but it only p~~~es off people when you tell them the truth so I’m not going to get into it again.

You should be able to find the answers you’re looking for with a little on-line searching that you can do yourself. People hallucinate. It happens…

I’m going to say that he’s on the level. I know a couple of guys who’ve made similar claims and I’ve had a few Sleep Paralysis hallucinations myself.

Although very rarely these days, I still sometimes get hypnopompic aural hallucinations. It’s nothing really all that weird once you understand that the brain just has it’s glitches.

I know a lot of people troll for attention nowadays. So I can understand your speculation. I am not that type Of guy. I am under the impression it was a hallucination given that I usually se this at night and I don’t sleep much. It just seems so real. I don’t get scared too much. I have been through alot of crazy shut in my life from jail to witnessing murders to suicides. But nothing has ever terrified me like this. I don’t see therapists nowadays so I reached out to the community here. I apologize if I sounded like a troll but that’s not my thing. Now to address your questions it just stands there looking at me. I look at it and it is so terrifying I have to look away eventually after I freeze in place and when I look back or open my eyes its gone. Witch is why I am under the impression that it is a hallucination brought about by sleep deprivation it just seems so real. I hope that answers your question.

You say you have seen this thing 12 times. Was it the same thing all the 12 times? What were you doing or thinking just before seeing this thing?

At what intervals – I mean dates or how old you were each time. What does it look like – you said terrifying – how?

There are paranormal scientists or others who deal with this stuff – have you tried any?

Yes, hallucinations can seem very real. I know this from my own personal experiences. That’s why so many people think that they are real.

But you’re on the right track. Don’t let others try and tell you it’s a real demon because it isn’t. Thinking that it is will only create unnecessary anxiety and fear.

Try and find out what is inducing the hallucinations so that you can work toward reducing them or possibly eliminating them altogether.

Don’t waste your time with the paranormal BS. It might just f~~~ you up even more…

while i will agree with you in looking for a more simple solution in this and most similar instances, i.e. hallucinations caused due to stress etc., being overly skeptical is not always the best course of action either.

if you’re going to talk about “reality” then we, as humans, only experience a tiny amount of information compared to everything that’s actually happening in “true reality.” people used to think that sickness was caused by disfavor with god or bad spirits before we could perceive bacteria and viruses.

maybe it’s likely not appropriate in this case but you really can’t rule out the fact that there very well can be extra dimensional, non physical beings of spirit that people might otherwise call demons or angels. consciousness and sentience is not a phenomenon created by a physical nervous system. consciousness is a fundamental state of being pervading through everything and an individual nervous system has evolved to funnel down consciousness to an appropriate level relative to the context of that particular organism.

a huge fallacy in always applying objective skepticism is that our perception and scientific knowledge only extends as far as the tools, instruments and devices that we create in order to extend it. if people always took your approach to “understanding reality”, we would never learn or discover anything new. if you can disprove something, that is fine. if you’re unable to disprove, that may not make it proven but it certainly doesn’t make it unproven by default.

This body holding me is a reminder of my own mortality. Embrace this moment. Remember, we are eternal and all this pain is an illusion.
