Anonymous38Well, doing the things you like to do don’t matter to you? Would your life be happier, or better, if you have not done the things you did, or do the things you want to do?
Like I said before, these things matter while I’m alive. If I have no consciousness after death, then clearly, nothing matters after that.
Is it an imperative to everyone, that life will only have meaning if there is an after-life? Better yet, is it an imperative to you, that in order to live a better life, you must have life after death? Why so

I never said any of these things. Clearly people find meaning and purpose in life regardless of whether they believe there is life after death or not. People will always strive to live what they see is a better life. Some are going to live according to a code, some want to maximize experiences, some want to die with the most toys, some want to feel like they impacted others positively. Which is a better life? I don’t know. What I do know is, if there is no consciousness after death, all these people are just dead, and how good of a life they led won’t matter to them.
To be clear on my personal beliefs, I do think there is an afterlife. However, I don’t think entry into heaven as an afterlife is based on leading a good life as it is on acknowledgement of God, of acceptance of where you fit in with everything. Hell is not so much a place of punishment, but of where you are when you can’t accept grace. If that makes any sense. But maybe that’s not what it is at all. I don’t know.I like to see the Devil as our ego, and God as our real selves. Forgetting what comes after, I believe that as long as we live ignorant, ego centric lives, we’ll live as if with the Devil. That is, we will manifest all sorts of negative behaviour. If we live as with God, we will manifest love and peace. Living the latter is the surest way to enjoy an afterlife, if there is one.

Anonymous38If death means that you have no consciousness, no memory of life, than whether or not you died in vain, lived life to the fullest, or whatever goals you had for life…will only matter in the time you have while you’re still alive. You could say that it only matters during the time you’re alive, realizing that death is coming and the goals you had for live are no longer achievable. And yes, I absolutely the way people think, it’s how we are wired, it’s plain on want. But from a logical non-emotional standpoint, it just doesn’t matter, if there is no consciousness after death.
“You could say that it only matters during the time you’re alive, realizing that death is coming and the goals you had for live are no longer achievable.”THIS.
When you know that death is coming towards you, each and every day, inexorably, don’t that give you a sense of urge, to do whatever you want to do before you die, and have no chance of doing the things you like or love to do? At least once?Dying with that regret in your last gasp is what is the “dog’s death” that Tokugawa Ieyasu-sama was talking about. While having your last gasp, you should look back and say “gods be damned, what a f~~~ing great ride that my life was! I couldn’t ask for anything better!”, and go to oblivion with zero regrets. This is what “living a good life” is all about. It has nothing to do with post-mortem rewards or better places, it has to live life on your terms to the fullest. Just that. This guy gets it.

Anonymous38I don’t understand why anyone would be afraid to die.
Unenlightened people cling to life because they are stuck in a dualistic ego-centric mindset. They suffer, and unhappy people fear much. Happy, enlightened people don’t fear death because they are happy.“Even drinking poison, our mind is quiet”
I can’t remember ever fearing death. It’s a natural process of life. Again, I don’t have a death wish, but I sometimes look forward to death because who wants to live forever in this world the way it is? Living is sometimes difficult. Dying is the easy way out.
I used to look forward death when I felt my life was not worth living. Having created a life worth living, I want to live as long as possible. I want to spread love, peace and understanding to the world. I have thought long and hard about why this is, and all I can say is it brings me great happiness, courage and meaning to live in this way.
I doubt many MGTOW want society to collapse.
From a number of posts I have read and videos I have watched of MGTOW, I disagree.
Maybe some who are still raging.
It is not about raging, but about having the potential for a future and freedom.
But life is pretty good.
For some, but not for most.
Are we not free of the plantation?
MGTOW are either pretending to be deaf-mutes in the rye, or living in the wilderness.
Whether or not I want society to collapse is irrelevant. Why concern myself with a society that has created its own demise. Maybe I will suffer too, that is part of living.
I care not what others do to comfort themselves in the deepest trenches of their minds. Let the world wash over mankind.
There ia not one single organism on this planet that needs humans to survive, NONE, best we can do is virus like HIV, and it existed long before it jumped to humans.
This is not true. Viruses are man made. They are chemtrailing a virus over the US right now for population culling, so everybody is getting sick and many will die, and the pharmaceutical industry will get richer selling drugs that make people sick, to already sick people.
HIV was invented in a lab by Dr. Robert Gallo.
Notice Dr. Gallo’s left hand pinky finger at 2:11.
Where have we seen THAT before?
Like I said before, these things matter while I’m alive. If I have no consciousness after death, then clearly, nothing matters after that.
And what we are saying is that it matters not in death, but in life. Death is an endpoint, it all ends there. Or not. Who knows?
But the certain thing is that it all ends there, so live a life that you will be proud of, when you are dying. What I do know is, if there is no consciousness after death, all these people are just dead, and how good of a life they led won’t matter to them.
How come it won’t? Your actions serves as examples to others. What you set as an example or an excuse, reflects after you died, for those you left behind.
Everything you do affects the world in a way or another. Be it from things you’ve built, people you’ve teached, helped, financed and so on.People go too deep into nihilism, and think that nothing matter… When in fact, everything does. Have you ever heard about the Butterfly Effect, brother? The theory of the chains of events?
"Young was I once, I walked alone, and bewildered seemed in the way; then I found me another and rich I thought me, for man is the joy of man." Odin, Hàvamàl, stanza 47.
Do you remember that guy in Northern France who walked out of his shack about 600 years ago and got struck by lightning ? Nope, no one does.
We’re all irrelevant. Yes, we may leave a mark on some people in our lives but they too will die. Then if you look at the big picture, when the Sun explodes and leaves the planet a dry, lifeless rock, who will care ? Who will remember ?
The biggest philosophical question, according to Albert Camus and many others, is whether to commit suicide or not when one discovers the cold hard truth. Of course, nihilism is no fun. It’s dark and bleak and whatnot. But I do see anything positive as a delusion.
Since I’ve realized that life has no meaning, all I’ve been doing since is pass the time until death. And I don’t know why I even bother.
Uugh… that was dark. My apologies, gentlemen.
Damn this bipolar s~~~. lol
